We are a small kennel breeding healthy pups of good temperament and correct conformation.
Located in Melbourne, we have owned Scottish Terriers since 2015.
Actively involved in conformation dog shows around Australia, we now have three new young dogs joining our show team - Dumbartons JV William Wallace (Billy), Dumbartons Shes An Uptown Girl (Elsie) and Dumbartons Runnin Up That Hill (Astrid).
In late 2022 our Blake achieved Supreme Champion status. Only 12 other Scottish Terriers had achieved this level in Australia prior to Blake. We exhibited Blake to 12 Best In Group awards and 12 Runner Up to Best In Group awards. He also won multiple class in group and class in show awards.
Being Dogs Australia (ANKC) accredited breeders, we are bound by the Rules & Code of Ethics of Dogs Victoria to breed dogs only for the purpose of improving and preserving the breed. Therefore, our breeding dogs participate in ANKC approved conformation dog shows to ensure they meet the breed standard requirements prior to breeding.
We strictly adopt the Dogs Victoria Model Health Management Plan for Breeders.
We provide full Orivet DNA profiles and health test results on all the dogs we select for breeding to future owners of our puppies, whether they be family pets or show homes.
We raise our puppies on premium foods from Lyka Pet Foods and Ziwi Peak and supplement with Royal Canin Pro kibble.

Dunscaith Scottish Terriers est.1962 - a small kennel breeding selectively for the correct type and temperament for this lovely breed. Home of many Champions, bred from local and imported Scots. I usually only breed when I require a further Scot to Show, therefore puppies are occasionally available to loving homes.
Scottish Terriers are great little mates, love to get out and about but content to be home with family or by your side. They have such lovely strong coats, easy to look after if groomed regular.
They come in a range of colours, Black, Black Brindle, Brindle and Wheaten in all shades of these colours, they wear their coats proudly, just like a true Scot.
Our dogs are all checked for screen able complaints for the breed and are VWD free.
