We have owned Schnauzers since 1992 starting with a miniature schnauzer. We then obtained our first standard schnauzer in 1993. Our dogs have always been family pets and participated in obedience training as well as showing. We have always had a very keen interest in the breed. Now our family has grown up, giving us time to concentrate on showing and to start our breeding program. Our foundation dogs are from imported European lines, all have wonderful temperaments as do their parents. Our aim is to breed quality Schnauzers following the European lines with good temperaments & soundness being a priority.  Our Miniatures have current eye certificates. Enquires by phone or email. We are dedicated registered breeders of the beautiful Miniature Schnauzer. Our dogs are our family, and are not kennel dogs. We live with our dogs, in our home situated on acreage on the Gold Coast. We strive for Breed type, soundness, and temperament. Our bloodlines are specially chosen from Imported USA Grand Champion and champion bloodlines, our dogs are eye tested. Our aim is to bred quality pups and we take great pride in the raising of our pups. Our pups are house reared and we ensure all pups are given lots of love, affection and attention. We encourage our pups to explore and venture into everyday situations that a normal house hold environment has including interaction with children. And at the right age we encourage play with different toys and outdoor adventure playgrounds we set up in our yard, which we feel stimulates a pup and helps build confidence and build the foundations for a sound little pup. We also show our beautiful dogs and have several Australian Champions which we are very proud of. We occasionally have pups for pet homes only, with Salt/pepper coats . All our puppies are eye tested clear, vet checked, micro-chipped, vaccinated, and wormed before joining your family. All puppies come with a "Pet" (not for breeding) Limited register ANKC papers. All pups are groomed regularly from a young age to prepare for grooming throughout their life

Possibly the oldest kennel of miniature schnauzers in Australia arriving here from the UK in 1966 I had been breeding and showing this lovely breed since the mid 50's.I showed fearlessly and with great sucess in breed ,group,and show through the 60's and 70's putting this amazing breed on the map in the NSW show circuit,along the way helping to form the schnauzer club of NSW and being its president for a while.Since those heady years the schnauzers have taken a back seat although always present,while I bred and showed Saanen goats,Welsh cob horses,and Dexter cattle with which I won many supreme championships under the Durrant Stud name which I might add has been in my family for three generations.In 1982 I returned to the UK to nurse my parents and returned in 1988 after showing and breeding a & judging in the UK with my beloved Min. schnauzers,airedales and Shih Tzu's and welsh cobs.Deansgate Luke out for durrant came with me via NZ.and in his brief show career won his Junior warrant and a challenge&Res Challenge,NZ.Champion,& AUS Champion titles all with Best in show all breeds before he was 2 years old. Recenly we have imported blacks from UK & Sweden&Argentina a new venture and salt&peppers from USA&Argentina Thes will be combined with our old and well tried blood from UK. HOSHIAHNA Miniature Schnauzer Kennel is home to “Mr Diego” - CH Repitition’s Lord Of The Rings, bred by Kurt Garmaker and Andy Tsieh from the prestigious Repitition Kennel, AKC (https://repititionminiatureschnauzers.com/). Diego is the son of Am Gr CH Repitition’s Hard Knock Life, who is from a bloodline of the breed’s top producers. The top three stud dogs of all time for the breed are: CH Regency’s Twist of Fate, CH. Rampage’s Representative, and CH Repitition’s Cornerstone – with 91, 88, and 81 champion progenies, respectively. Representative is the father of Cornerstone, who is the great grandfather of Diego, who himself holds an Australian and European title, as handled by Villy Mazelis (Neringa Kennels, Australia) and Jelena Kazak Nicolic (House Kazak, Serbia). So far, Diego has only sired a limited number of litters. His main-registered progenies are just starting to be seen in dog shows around the country and are doing well. One of his sons, Badger (CH Egoist Stormfront Shazam I Am), owned and handled by Chelsea Jeffries (CSHAYE Kennels) gained his champion title at six months of age and in six weekends of campaign, winning multiple best of breed and minor/puppy in group under tough competitions. A very special thanks to Dragutin and Suzi Mladenovic (Egoist Kennels) who have kindly entrusted Diego to us. We will certainly treasure and care for Diego, and will do our best to see him follow in the footsteps of his ancestors and contribute to the gene pool in Aust.

Miocavallaro has had a new arrival of 6 females and 2 males, who are 10 weeks old and toilet trained using a dog door. 2 Salt and Pepper femailes are available. Michigan is a playful, talkative, cuddly companion. She is never far from our side and talks with you. Mexico is always on an adventure, wanting to play and the best soccer player we have ever had. Our pups are raised in our home with our family and adult dogs. They are constantly learning from the adult dogs, developing friendly and sociable behaviours. Our pups are very easily trained into routines such as toileting outside, using a doggy door, coming when called, bed time and gentle play with children and adults. Our previous litters are all happy in their homes which range from apartment to acreage living. Our pups are trained using quiet repetitive training to have gentle natures suitable for children. All pups transfer to their forever home with ANKC Pedigree Certificate, DNA Report, microchipped, 2 vaccinations, 2 months Nexgard Spectra treatment, mother's blanket, dry & wet food, training treats and toys. All puppies have DNA parentage confirmation and clear eye certificates. (Younger pups still need their eye tests done before leaving.) Their parents hold current clear eye certificates and have been DNA tested clear for health issues for which tests are available. We hope to have some solid Black Puppies born in December.

They will be vet checked, will have had their first vaccination and microchip and come with a lovely puppy pack full of information and goodies. They also leave me with a starter life and health insurance policy with Petcover for added peace of mind. My puppies are raised in our home and are well used to children, cats and other dogs. Our puppies are raised on LYKA, fresh food. Please let me know a little about yourself and your plans for a puppy as well as previous experience with the breed. Puppies will not be allowed to leave me before 8 weeks of age, no exceptions. We are happy to help arrange interstate transport to all areas at the new owners expense.

DOB: 29th March, 2024 HISTORY & ENVIRONMENT: This pup was raised with his mother until 5 weeks of age and after that he has been on the Science Hills Puppy Food. He can be desexed before he leaves. He will be issued with the ANKC birth certificate and has the Parentage Report from Orivet. Both parents have the Comprehensive report from Orivet, clear eye certificates revealing that all tests are cleared from health issues. He has been fully vaccinated and is microchipped. This pup was raised within our family home and our pack. His socialization skills show a confident and happy boy. He is use to cats and other farm livestock. He was considered for a breeder in our program but our direction has changed so he could either be placed on the Main register for his new home or on the companionship register.
