Our giants have achieved Multi Best in Show, Best in Specialty Show, Multi Reserve in Show, Multi Best in Group, Multi Reserve in Group, Multi Class in Group and Multi Class in Show in All Breed and Specialty championship shows. In Obedience we have achieved CDX and Endurance ET Titles. Our dogs have the temperament and style to be your best friend in play and at work. Giant Schnauzers are an alert, reliable and intelligent breed that are ideal with other dogs and children. The Giant Schnauzer has medium to high maintenance requirements for excercise and grooming as the coat does require stripping for the show dog - pets can be clipped. Giant Schnauzers require a good deal of social and mental stimulation

Here at Heisspur since 2005 our main focus has been Miniature Schnauzers. In 2015 our big old mixed breed rescue boy became a bit deaf, blind & arthritic so we decided to add a Giant Schnauzer to our clan welcoming the beautiful "Kiki". Mentored by old Ringo she is the perfect goofball guard dog. She is a proven show dog quickly becoming an Australian Champion also winning Bitch Challenge at 2017 Sydney Royal. She's also a talented sniffer reaching her Tracking Dog Title with a hat-trick. She has also done some herding and has been a very clever watchdog and guardian of our home and 30 acre property. Owning (or being owned by) any giant breed requires dedication and training. Giant Schnauzers are a very intelligent, friendly happy-go-lucky breed. Here in Australia they are in the Utility Group (Working Dog group in the USA). They were bred over many generations for a purpose, to guard and this is their natural instinct, and in their mind will be their purpose in any environment. They require dedicated training and daily exercise to keep their mind and body active. Also being a double coated breed they require regular grooming. If you are thinking of adding a Giant to your family, it is advised that you do more than just research online. Please phone breeders, go to shows, meet the dogs and spend time with them. They will become a Giant part of your family and you will be their whole world. We owe it to any dog to know what is required to give them a happy whole life

I first started showing in 1965 with a miniature schnauzer.My first schnauzer adopted me in 1985 and then came the giant in 1994 since then we have bred 5 Grand Champion Schnauzers the first Male & Female in the breed.Our bloodlines have started some of the top winning kennels in Australa and have produced 94 titled dogs that we know of many which are BIS BIG and Specialty winners We only breed when requiring new dogs for show or obedience over the years our dogs have been used in child handlers

Eagerly awaiting the arrival of our beautiful Gizelle's puppies due mid November! Gizelle is our sweet outgoing girl who has excelled in the show ring since she was a baby. Sire is our equally handsome young man Harley who has also excelled in the show ring so far - not yet 2 yrs old! Both parents are wonderful breed ambassadors with lovely temperaments, our family companions not just show dogs. Sweet natured with our grandchildren and get along very well with our other dogs and cats. We expect their puppies to be just as sweet natured and confident. We have a litter of puppies ready 20 December 2024 but we can hold pups till families are ready. Pups will all have long coats and stunning black pigment. They are health tested, with brilliant pedigrees, free from health problems, and they both possess delightful temperaments. Both Gus & Vajra are easy going dogs who love their humans, and we have no doubt these puppies will be just the same! All puppies are long coated and we have one companion male left available. We also have one male who we are happy to discuss going to a show home, or a companion home who is wanting to start out in the show or obedience rings with a dog who is bred to be competitive. Gus is bred by us from dogs we imported ourselves, and Vajra was recently imported to Australia with no direct relatives existing in Australia, meaning our pedigrees and style of White Swiss Shepherd is very distinctive and unique to Saffioraire!

Puppies available now We have 3 puppies available from a litter that was born on 6th September, they are ready for new homes now. 1 male and 2 female, they are friendly active puppies, both parents have been screened for hereditary disorders and have good hip/elbow scores.
