We give a great importance to the physical and mental development and like to see in our schnauzers characteristics such as strong and reliable temperament, loyalty to their owner, desire to learn and work; as well as solid heads, powerful necks, wide chests, sturdy hind limbs and harsh low maintenance coat. Our breeding is based on only imported bloodlines from Germany, Russia and Ukraine.

Munchener has been involved with Pepper & Salt Giant Schnauzers since 1989. Schnauzers of all sizes have been a part of our family since the 1960s. The Pepper & Salt Giant Schnauzer is a rare breed with only 1 in 15 Giant Schnauzers being Pepper & Salt in colour. We are working closely with dedicated breeders overseas and through our breeding programme and by selectively importing hope to further develop and promote the breed in Australia. We have imported from Germany, Sweden, UK and USA. Our latest import is Hungarian Junior Champion Australian Grand Champion Silver Senator Kaoma Night ( Prima) from Hungary.All our dogs are health tested. Our next litter is planned for September 2022 sired by Int Ch Ger Ch Prinz vom Kleinen Büffel BH AD FH1 FH2 IGP3 (imp Gmy, frozen semen) out of Ch Munchener Silverschatz von Mondo. All puppies will be black, but carrying the pepper & salt gene.

Sue started showing Standard Schnauzers in 1995 in Melbourne and in 2005 joined Petri in Brisbane to start Blackline Petri imported from Finland “Aust Gr Ch Refrain All Star"-Goofy. He was a Multi BEST IN SHOW & MULTI BEST IN SPECIALTY SHOW dog, winning back to back best of breeds at Sydney,Brisbane,Melbourne and Toowoomba Royals & a multi Best in Group winner.Goofy also won Runner Up Best in Group at Sydney Royal 2005, Runner Up Best in Group Perth Royal 2007 and Best in Group Toowoomba Royal. Beautiful Basenji litter born 13/04/2024, which makes these puppies 6 months old. Puppies are pedigreed and registered with the Australian National Kennel Club (ANKC). Free of Fanconi and tested for Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA) and PPM. Puppies are desexed and have all vaccinations for 1 year. Bayenzi Mze Blitzen (Maisy) is 5 months old, full vaccinated, council registered. Lead and toilet trained. Travels well in cars and loves other dogs and children. She was always my favourite puppy girl in my 2024 litter and had planned to show her, but it’s not her thing so we are offering her for adoption. Maisy is a pretty, sweet natured little girl, she would be best suited to a home where she has another pet companion, dog, cat, bird as she is used to being part of our small pack of 4 and has been raised in the house.
