Our Goal is to breed a Rottweiler that is steadfast, loyal, confident and well balanced, in mind, body and spirit. Our dogs are accomplished not just in the show ring, but the dog sport arena as well. Either with or working towards titles in dog sport and conformation. Why is this important? Because it's a quantifiable demonstration of a dogs trainability, temperament and suitability as a pet or dog sport prospect. Something we seek to prioritize, in our breeding program. All our dogs meet NRCA breeding requirements. And we are happy to provide proof of their results and accomplishments on request.

Klimkie Kennels have been operating since the 1980's. We started out small with showing and obedience training our dogs. Our dogs were generally trained to grade 5 obedience and some were trained in agility and participated in trials. We then moved into breeding our own dogs with a specific emphasis on temperament and willingness to work. Our current line has been bred with these characteristics in mind.

We are a small breeder from Two Wells, SA. Our Rottweilers are a well-loved part of our family so their temperament and health are top priority. We run a high-quality training and boarding centre situated in Adelaide and our dogs are apart of our everyday life. They train with us, help us rehabilitate clients dogs and are well socialised in our dog day-care setting. All our dogs comply with NRC(A) Code of ethics and are Hip, Elbow, Eye and Mouth certified as well as tested for JLPP, LEMP and DNA profiled. All Puppies leaving our home are ANKC registered, microchipped, vaccinated and wormed. We place a strong emphasis on raising well balanced, confident puppies and follow the Avidog/puppy culture protocols, along with growing up on 23 acres of land with other dogs, cats, children, livestock and more! Full puppy information packs and support is provided to all our puppy owners - for life. All litters are carefully planned from health tested parents. Puppies are raised in our home and are well socialised prior to leaving us. Careful consideration is given to puppy placement and all puppies are sold strictly on Limited Register or Main Register by negotiation.

Our dedication to the breed has seen us explore all aspects and disciplines that the breed allows. We have been consistent in our success for 50 years in the All Breeds ring and Speciality rings achieving multi Best in Show All Breeds and Best in Show Rottweiler Specialties as well as BIS Rottweiler National. Over the years we have imported 8 quality rottweilers. We currently have 3 imported males from Germany at home.. We export overseas occasionally All litters are carefully planned from health tested parents complying with NRCA Standards.. Temperaments are carefully checked prior to breeding All. Puppies are raised in our home and are well socialised prior to leaving us.
