Starkehre Rottweilers is an intimate, home and family based establishment situated on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria, Australia.
We raise our puppies in accordance with "Puppy Culture" protocols and display evidence based proof of such practices. All the puppies are given daily individual tactile development, training and socialization that benefit their mental, emotional and physical development. This includes, but is not limited to engagement and confidence building exercises which sets them up for life.
We are committed to supporting our owners with training & advice throughout the life of their dog. This is in efforts to help each owner develop their perfect, dream dog.
We are dedicated to producing sound, healthy dogs with outgoing, confident and correct temperaments, that conform as close to what the Rottweiler is in essence and history is supposed to be. We firmly believe that every owner deserves to own a healthy, sound dog with an excellent temperament.
Our breeding dogs are health tested in accordance with the NRC(A) health testing scheme which includes Hips/Elbows, Mouth, Eye Certificates, JLPP.
We also conduct echo cardiograms, full DNA profiling and screen against additional identified issues within our breed such as BOAS and genetic evidence of Tibial Plateau Angle (TPA)
We are current financial members of and proudly comply with the strict Code Of Ethics imposed on us by multiple Rottweiler & working working club. These are displayed on our website.
