My love for the Puli began in 1990 when I purchased Carrie, (Feketekutya Toffee) my beautiful black masked, silver (fako) girl. I was looking for a breed with intelligence, outgoing nature and willingness to learn for my work in the film industry and, I was instantly smitten with this delightful little dog. It was not until after her death that I discovered how difficult it was going to be to buy another Puli here in Australia that was not black in colour. After many years in fruitless search throughout Australia, I imported a female from Sweden. Since then, genetics have also been added from amongst the best breeders in Hungary and we breed the fako colour as well as black. My dogs are raised on a working farm in the Yarra Valley in a family environment with children and a variety of livestock. All breeding stock has current hip and eye certificates. Our dogs have been successfully shown and also compete in dog sports such as agility and flyball. Advice is freely given on all aspects of the care, grooming and training of Pulik.
