We aim to produce healthy, happy PWDs with beauty and brains. Our dogs compete in conformation, obedience & rally, as well as being loving members of our family. Both are now sadly deceased Our current dogs are: "Dylan", Supreme Ch Ryzylva Make a Wish RN RA, a multi Best in Show winner. "Chelsea" Grand Ch Ryzylva Making Waves. “Hudson” Ch Ryzylva Wish Upon A Star is enjoying Rally O trialling. He achieved his RN, RA, RE and RAE titles in 6 months, only starting in Rally at the Qld State titles in June 2017. “Opal” Ryzylva Kia Kaha RN RA RE RAE is our working girl. She loves Rally O. She too commenced her Rally career at the Qld state titles in June 2017. She achieved her RN, RA and RE titles in 5 months with time off for motherhood. Littermates Conrad, CH Ryzylva Wishes N Dreams, and Yasmin, CH Ryzylva Three Wishes, both titled easily at 8 months, are multi Class in Group and Show winners. Conrad has qualified for Qld Puppy of the Year competition, and is already a Runner up in Group winner. He placed in top 4 for Best Puppy in Group at Sydney Royal 2019. All breeding stock health tested, including hips/elbows, PRA, GM1 and JDCM. Results of health tests available on application. We breed sparingly, only to improve the breed.

Our passion for Portuguese Dogs started in 2009 when we got our first Portuguese Water Dog, Grace. Grace showed us how incredible this breed is! Everyone who met Grace fell in love with her. She visited hospitals as a therapy dog and she was an Assistance Dog for Wendy. Grace travelled the world with us and even got to spend a day at The Louvre and see the Mona Lisa. She also competed with us in agility, flyball, rally, dancing with dogs and heel work to music. Grace learnt >200 tricks and loved nothing more than showing off her tricks to an audience. Grace’s registered name was Bluegrace Seacalling and our kennel name Seacalling is a tribute to G. In 2020, we imported a very special Portuguese Water Dog, Ocean (aka Oshi), from the USA. She is our foundation bitch and she has proved to us yet again why we LOVE this breed so much! She is incredibly intelligent, loyal, loving, athletic and driven to work. So far we have competed in conformation, agility and rally and she is training to be an Assistance Dog. We never dreamed another dog could come close to Grace but Oshi has our hearts. We have imported frozen semen from a top stud dog in the USA (MBISS GChS Marshview Whale Of A Good Time RN MX MXJ XF DCAT RATS CGCA WWD GROM) and we hope to have our first litter in 2023. Our goal is to breed for temperament, structure, health and working ability. Our puppies will be given a lot of enrichment and they should make fabulous performance dogs and pets for active owners.
