If you are looking for a loving breed of dog, go no further than the Tenterfield Terrier. They are bright, outgoing, loyal and bold.
Most of us are familiar with these plucky little Australians. Whether belting downhill in a billy cart, catching a Frisbee or sitting curled up in your lap. The Tenterfield Terrier is a big dog in a little body, a terrier with attitude.
The Tenterfield Terrier is popular in both the country and the city. It is a very adaptable dog and will be as happy on a farm as it is in the city.
Tenterfields adapt to most situations, from a houseful of noisy kids to a more indulgent lifestyle with older adults. Most make good companions for older people living alone, being small and placid enough to hold in your lap.
For champions and little mates come and meet a Nuyaram Tenterfield Terrier. I breed quality terriers for type and temperament and they are reared in a family environment. Puppies are sometimes available.

We are on the Lower North Coast of NSW 2 1/2 hours north of Sydney and we are dedicated to breeding Tenterfield Terriers of true type and excellent family friendly temperaments.
Our dogs are proven in the show ring and raised with love in our home. Puppies and older dogs are sometimes available to loving homes.
We are proud to say that we have bred over40 Champions to date including 4 Grand Champions and our dogs have been proven in the show ring and in dog sports and have had significant wins at shows in 4 states at Tenterfield Specialty (BIS, RUBIS & Classes in Show) and All Breeds Shows (BIG & RUBIG and Classes in Group).

I am small select kennel, specialising in Tenterfield Terriers. My aim is to breed sound happy healthy pups, bred for type and soundness. I also put quality over quantity. My dogs all run together and temperament is paramount. I have been showing at Dogs SA since the breed’s acceptance into the ring in 2002. Gumhaven owned and bred Tenterfields have won Groups, many class in groups, BISS's, and Royal BOB's and class in group.
My Kennel is clear of PLL and CHG and all breeding dogs have all been patella checked.
I have been in Tenterfields for over 40 years although they were originally known as Miniature Fox Terriers.

We are excited to be announcing the upcoming arrival of a litter of pups early September 2024
Pups will be due for new homes late October/early November.
Parents have both passed all their relevant testing. They have been hip/elbow scored, dna tested ( full profile)and hold clear heart and eye certificates which can be viewed upon visit.
Parents are both in beautiful healthy condition and have exemplary temperaments. They are family members first and foremost and central to our hearts and home.
Pups will be raised amongst the family chaos and will come well socialised with children, other dogs, chooks, cows, sheep , our cat and our budgie!.

Janbensa is a small home based kennel, located on a rural property on the Bellarine Peninsula. I have been breeding beautiful Golden Retrievers in our family home since 2007. My dogs are bred down from the well known prefix 'Goldog' line, therefore have excellent parentage on both sides. The sire is a well known as supreme champion in the show rings.
