Here at Simpatico Kennels I strive for Healthy, Happy, Sound and Adorable Elkhound puppies. I have been a breeder since 2003 and have breed dogs for all type of families. I have breed successfully Therapy, Show, Agility, Obedience, Hunting, Assistance, Sporting and of cource Happy pet puppies. Some of my dogs have been featured on tv and in other media. Graabine Elkhounds have been very successful in the show ring. Our dogs have won each category on the dogs online pointscore and we were awarded Best Breeder on quite a few occasions. We bred and showed the record winning Elkhound in Australia - Supreme Champion Graabine Little Joe. We have bred many Grand Champions who are Best in Show winners. Currently campaigning Caine- Graabine a Little Bit O Chilli who was sired by our Super Import the most awarded dog to come to Australia Chilli - Am/Can/Aust Ch. Only one beautiful little lady left. Nicknamed 'Buttercup' by my daughters, she has the most beautiful, thick, luscious coat, and the cutest, curly tail ever! She is a chunky little monkey too, and so incredibly placid - nothing fazes sweet little Buttercup! Whilst her sisters thought their first hydrobath on Sunday was horrendous, Buttercup took it all in her normal cruisy style. She just kicked back and lay down for the whole experience! Not a worry in the world. She is literally amazing! We can't wait to see how she looks when her ears finally prick up - we bet she'll be absolutely stunning! Due to have her second vaccination with her sisters on Friday (at 10 weeks of age), Buttercup is ready to be welcomed into her new family any time from this weekend onwards. We raise happy, healthy, confident, affectionate Shibees in our family home. As a result, Buttercup can already use a doggie door and is nearly fully house-trained. She loves attention and confidently greets all visitors. She has been socialised (with her Shiba family and two toy poodles) and is interested in our cat, but not overly stimulatd by her.
