Minelphi is a highly successful prefix that was established by my parents, Phillip and Elaine Cross, in 1961. They bred Miniature Pinschers for over 58 years. My parents started out in the breed with a dog from the late Dr Harry and Margaret Spira. Minelphi has produced in excess of 50 champions, 3 Grand Champions and Supreme Champion Minelphi I Am On Fire. When Minelphi was transferred to me in 2014 I went back to the start of the alphabet and introduced a new tradition. Now the registered names of Minelphi puppies, not only begin with the same letter but include a word that connects the litter. My first litter was born on the 1st September, 2014. After my mother passed away, in 2016, my father and I became joint owners. On 28th December, 2022 my father passed away. He was 88 years old.

At BlackGranite Miniature Pinschers we are expecting a special litter of red Miniature Pinscher puppies around the 20th December. ON BEHALF: Miniature Pinscher red neutered male-in Auckland Bowie is looking for his new forever home. He needs to have a dog buddy as he does not cope being an only child. He is 8 years old in September. He loves going for long walks and hunting rabbits and birds. Is previous owners loved him to bits but had to move into a retirement village where they could not take him. He has always lived out in the country so is not use to the hustle and bustle of the suburbs. We have had him for a few months he gets on well with all the dogs here at doggy paradise, he does get a bit overwhelmed occasionally and goes and hides outside from it all. He is very affectionate but is wary of people he does not know. Has been attacked by a German Shepherd so does not like big dogs. He is very strong willed but soft as butter. Loves my mother follows her around everywhere when she comes to stay. He just needs his own person again I am in no hurry to rehome him as I would rather he goes in the spring or summer when it warms up a bit.
