From an imported sire, and 25 years breeding in Australia, these Portuguese Water Dog puppies are ready to go now. An ancient breed, used by Portuguese fishers to work off boats, these dogs have adapted fabulously to life in Australia both in the water, and in locations without such. All pups are introduced to swimming before leaving as I start introducing their life lessons. (check pics!) These have a non shedding coat, are very active, smart, and with your common sense and training, are fantastic companions. I have been breeding these since 1997 and am Australia's most experienced breeder. Located north of Heathcote, I am wanting you to visit, to meet the pups, their parents and family. DOB 13.09.24 This litter has been bred for a show boy for ourselves and is a repeat mating on my last show girl “Ellee” who has been very popular in the show ring with an outstanding temperament and has had many wonderful wins. Here at Arcticpalace we only breed with the intention to keep a puppy for ourselves to show which we are very prominent in the show ring and allow others the unconditional love of a dog we get to enjoy. Parents have been health tested for all relevant health test performed in DNA profiling and have had their hip and elbow X-Rays and scored very well. Puppies have been raised in the family home and are very well socialised both indoors and out in their designer run ensuring loving, happy go lucky temperaments and being given lots of human interaction and cuddles. Puppies are available to go to their new homes from the 8th of November and will be registered with the Australian National Kennel Club, microchipped, vaccinated and wormed every two weeks since birth. They also come with their personal folder with copies of all relevant records and more and a Blackhawk puppy pack, the premium food they have been raised on.
