This european breed is an earlier type of the modern day Newfoundland, harking back to the days of the breed when it was immortalised by the painter Sir Edwin Landseer. It is generally taller, slimmer, sportier and its striking long coat is more wash and wear than its modern Newfoundland cousin. We are pleased to advise that Dahlia (Champion Trumps Roadshow) has been confirmed via ultrasound to be expecting puppies late November. Dahlia has had a successful show career, now retired from showing, and lives with her daughter in my home as much loved companion. My dogs are available to meet at an arranged visit time. Temperament is of paramount importance and all dogs excel in this regard. They all live as home companions, not as kennel dogs. Information regarding care, including grooming ( I give complimentary lessons) is always offered.
