Living on almost 50 acres in the Macedon Ranges (less than an hour drive from Melbourne) our dogs love exploring the gardens and swimming in the lake! They are very well cared for and loved on many levels, and my partner Ross is a veterinarian. Before 8 weeks, puppies will have had a Vet health check, vaccinations, micro-chipped, wormed and Dogs Vic. Registered. Both parents have good Hip & Elbow scores and are clear for known diseases that affect our breed.

OK, so maybe Miss Riffraff doesn't look like the average show dog. That's not because she doesn't scrub up a treat, but because we are much more interested in the fact that she's a fun dog who is great to live with. Riffraff turned fourteen in 2020 and is enjoying her retirement away from the hustle and bustle of our farm. We still have some of her granddaughters in our breeding program, though, as well as a few other lagottos we've collected along the way. We added Lagottos to our farmily because we wanted dogs that are not too big, friendly with the whole world, easy to care for and who love life. Our dogs are particularly fond of diving in water troughs, chasing butterflies and ducks, and curling up by the fire or under the computer desk at night. Exactly what we were looking for. We are a small breeder of Lagotto Romagnolos based in Melbourne. Our aim is to breed healthy Lagottos with a great temperament and a good conformation. In our view the perfect Lagotto should be friendly and energetic with no resource guarding and it should display a great working drive.

We have chosen Panda as our foundation bitch as she has the most wonderful temperament and is very smart and keen to learn.

Whether you are looking for an obedience dog, tracking dog, agility dog, show dog or simply a wonderful pet then we expect our next litter to have what you are looking for.

Around 7-8 weeks of age, all puppies will be temperament tested and we will match puppies to their new families to make sure they fit in the best. At this time we can also access which puppies are likely to do well in the show ring.

The Lagotto Romagnolo, also known as the Italian truffle dog, is a rare ancient breed and is considered the foundation breed to many of today's hunting dog breeds. The Lagotto is a non-shedding, active medium-sized breed. They are very loyal to their owner/s, extremely smart, very social, and loving which makes them the perfect family companion.

Our success as a registered breeder has been with the support of our mentor breeder Duoforza and world leaders in canine reproduction Monash Veterinary Clinic headed by Dr Stuart Mason.

Our puppies are raised in a family environment and are well socialised.

Expression of interest for litter due in mid July.

Both parents are Australian Champions that are health tested both in DNA and hip and elbows. This is both their first litters so we are super excited to see what they produce.
Puppies are raised in a busy home environment and handled daily by children who are extensively involved in the raising process.
Both parents might be show dogs but they are also very loved family pets, involved in most aspects of our lives from helping with teach puppy preschool demonstrations to sleeping on the kids beds at night. Both parents are a great mixture of active and snuggles, they love a good run out the bush and swim in the river but happy to sit and sleep through a movie while getting bulk pats.

We are currently taking expressions of interest for our upcoming litter of puppies expected in early August.

This litter is a long awaited pairing between our homebred roan girl, Aust Ch. Ludivine Clementine (Clemmie) and recently arrived in the country brown boy NZ Ch. Aust Ch. Glenstar Man of the World (Mac). Both parents have wonderful temperaments and are excellent examples of the breed, having successfully shown across Australia and charmed people with their sweet and approachable natures. Clemmie is the apple of our eye and Mac has been turning heads since his arrival. Both are extensively disorder tested and are healthy, happy dogs.

Our litters are raised within our home with particular care taken to ensure they are accustomed to all that family life has to offer. Using the Puppy Culture method, they are raised around children, other animals, and are exposed to a wide array of experiences to set them up for success.

The pups landed on 31/05/2024 and are currently 6 weeks old little bundles of fun and love.

Luna had a litter of 5:
3 boys:
1 x cream with orange patches
1 x choc top
1 x Brown roan
2 girls: both are brown roan like Luna.

Pups have had their 1st vaccination and microchip.
Pups are due to go to their forever homes on July 28-29th.

After a puppy drought lasting more than twelve months, we are finally once again enjoying the pitter patter of teeny lagotto paws. Most puppies are spoken for but we have three male puppies looking for forever homes, ready to leave home end of June. One is brown and the other two brown roan. They've been expertly raised to become great companions. We've been breeding lagottos for nearly two decades - our original lagotto, RiffRaff, just celebrated her 17th birthday - and we are always happy to share our extensive knowledge about the breed.
