Labrador Silver Coat Colour Warning - The National Labrador Retriever Breed Council (Australia) has issued a position statement for the Silver (or Platinum / Charcoal) Coat Colour. The Labrador only has 3 recognised colours - (Black, Yellow and Liver/Chocolate).

We are a small family breeder located in Townsville, North Queensland. All of our sires and dams have been hip and elbow scored and have had full DNA profiles, all of which are available to view on our website. They are clear of all genetic diseases, such as PRA and EIC. Our Labradors are bred for soundness and temperament, and out puppies are very well socialised - raised surrounded by children and other animals.

Alunaheart Labradors is new to the breeding world and was created because of our deep love for Labradors, having had Labradors for over 24 years.

We consider our Labradors as our fur babies and they are very much important members of our family and lifestyle.

Over the years, our Labradors have been there for us through all of the highs and the lows of life and bring such joy and companionship to our lives.

As ethical breeders, we ensure that our Labradors undergo thorough health testing, such as in-depth DNA testing and analysis, hip and elbow x-rays and scoring to ensure they are suitable for breeding. Our goal is to improve the Labrador breed standard and nurturing our dogs and their puppies to have beautiful temperaments.

Our three dogs: Duke, Roxie and Luna are beautiful natured dogs who love playing in water, they enjoy a raw fed diet, enjoy cuddles, playing with our son (3 years old) and being beautiful companions.

A future litter is planned for later in 2024: Roxie and Duke.

We are attending our first year of Conformation shows in the FNQ region with our girl Luna.

We are currently based in Townsville QLD.
