Labrador Silver Coat Colour Warning - The National Labrador Retriever Breed Council (Australia) has issued a position statement for the Silver (or Platinum / Charcoal) Coat Colour. The Labrador only has 3 recognised colours - (Black, Yellow and Liver/Chocolate).

Our Labradors are country bred in the foothills of Adelaide and reared in the family home. Learning all the proper socialisation skills necessary to deal with people and other animals. Coorong is our prefix… and we have been involved with the magnificent Labrador breed for over 60 years. In the early 1970’s we imported a beautiful stud dog from the UK. We showed successfully and several of our dogs worked as retrievers of game, and occasionally as carriers of the fishing tackle! Many children in our circle were taught to swim by King or Bonnie or Della …. We aim for great temperament and true to type in our breeding strategies.Our pups are born in the kitchen and are superbly socialised.
