Labrador Silver Coat Colour Warning - The National Labrador Retriever Breed Council (Australia) has issued a position statement for the Silver (or Platinum / Charcoal) Coat Colour. The Labrador only has 3 recognised colours - (Black, Yellow and Liver/Chocolate).

Our Labradors are bred for beautiful temperament, soundness and enjoyment. They are the eye's for people with vision impairment, hearing loss assistance dogs, and of course, amazing companions for life.

Located at Crib Point on the Mornington Peninsula, the dogs enjoy a playground with farmland for walks, beaches for swimming and the occasional Pinot grape! The dogs are part of our family and are dearly loved.

Beautiful chocolate dog available at stud for approved bitches.

Occasionally we breed chocolate puppies to approved homes only.

Based on the Mornington Peninsula my aim is to produce puppies that are true to type, especially in temperament and retrieving ability but above all as wonderful family pets. I will only breed from stock with low hip and elbow scores, and that are DNA tested for all known heritable diseases in labradors, including exercise induced collapse (EIC) and progressive retinal atrophy (PRA).

Bungower Labradors is a family-owned business run by couple Rob and Amanda and their daughter Sam, located on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria. As a breeder, we strive to breed litters of sound body and mind, protecting the integrity of the breed and encouraging others to bring the loyal and smart naturedness of a Labrador into their lives.

Puppies will be microchipped, vaccinated and wormed, will come with their and their parents' papers, and a puppy pack with general information on raising a puppy, a bag of Royal Canin Labrador Puppy food, toys, a blanket smelling like mum and a lint roller (if you know, you know).

We currently only have one dog in our breeding program, so our waitlist can be long. We hope to have our next litter in December 2024/January 2025. Please head to our website to join the waitlist.
