Labrador Silver Coat Colour Warning - The National Labrador Retriever Breed Council (Australia) has issued a position statement for the Silver (or Platinum / Charcoal) Coat Colour. The Labrador only has 3 recognised colours - (Black, Yellow and Liver/Chocolate).

Labradors bred to be a good example of the breed for show, obedience, non slip retrieving, family pet and companion. We aim to breed dogs that are both sound physically as well as having the right temperament to be used to benefit people who need dogs to improve their lifestyle, as many of our dogs have been used as assistance dogs to people in wheel chairs, as explained in our web page.
All our stock are hip and elbow scored and all have the health checks for clear eye certificates as well as clear DNA test for PRA, EIC and all current hereditary diseases.
We only breed one or two litters each year, all enquiries are welcome.

Miandor Labrador Retrievers is a small family orientated kennel where our Labs' are as much family as they are 'show dogs'. We have a special interest in conformation showing and proudly exhibit quality Labrador Retrievers in type and temperament. We occassionly have puppies available from purposefully bred litters. All puppies are given particular care to their health and socialisation. Our puppies are very important to us and are only sold to approved homes.

Our Labrador Retrievers are raised in the fresh country air with ample room to run, play and swim. All breeding stock have undergone all required testing against hereditary ailments.

I grew up showing and breeding Beagles as a youngster and owned my first Labrador in my early twenties and have been breeding Labradors for over 15 years. My original Labrador was a wonderful part of my family's life and I found that the well bred Labrador is the perfect companion for all families. My aim is to do everything I can to keep them that way through ethical breeding practices.

We do not compromise or take shortcuts with our dogs for the sake of the dollar and our dogs only go to approved homes after a thorough screening process. We do our utmost to make sure that our Labradors go to families that are suitable for Labradors and where they will be happy for their lifetime.

All breeding stock are hip/elbow scored and DNA tested for the full range of disease and trait tests available in Australia. Puppies are all registered on either the Limited or Full Register with Dogs VIC.

Marsagan Labradors is a family business that started off in Scotland but has now arrived in Queensland. We believe in treating our dogs as part of the family so they are free to romp around the 1 acre grounds at our house or chill inside and wait for dinner to be served!
We place very high value on the quality of our breeding lines and the genetic makeup of our dogs.

Bred from champion pedigrees. All of our dogs hold current clear eye certificates and are clear for PRA, EIC and CNM. In addition they all have excellent hip and elbow scores.

While some of our puppies have gone on to be professional gundogs, most of them go as family pets.
They are born in the household and kept indoors until they are about 4 weeks old. We give them up when they are weaned at 8 weeks of age, by which time they have been microchipped, primo-vaccinated and dewormed. As well as the above each pup comes with their personal dossier which includes diet sheet, care and training pack, exercise and socialisation pack, 6 weeks Petcover insurance, record of worming regime, sales contract, registration with Dogs Queensland, supply of food and a scent blanket.
We are very proud of our dogs and welcome enquiries and visits anytime.

We are a small family kennel breeding quality yellow and black labradors.
We have 2 yellow females and 1 black male, all are raised as family pets and have been hip and elbow scored with great results. Our dogs have all been DNA tested and they are all clear of PRA, EIC and other hereditary diseases.
