Labrador Silver Coat Colour Warning - The National Labrador Retriever Breed Council (Australia) has issued a position statement for the Silver (or Platinum / Charcoal) Coat Colour. The Labrador only has 3 recognised colours - (Black, Yellow and Liver/Chocolate).

We breed yellow coat colour with very black noses, paws & lips. Nine yrs ago we relocated from Kuranda Nth Qld to Yamba NSW where Pippi Beach has become our labrador playground- 3 hrs sth of Brisbane. We continue to breed to UK bloodlines & are indebted to Anna Spanswick & Guy Spagnolo for our much loved foundation bitch Ch Cambewarra Pearl Button ex Ch Priorise Target (imp UK). ( dec 23/02/2016 at 12.5 yrs of age). Excellent temperament & pedigree, with strong hip & elbow scores & eyes clear for PRCD. Stocky yellow labs with defined heads, good stop, dark pigment & typical friendly temperaments - great retrievers. Show quality & lovely pets sold only to the best of homes. Visitors welcome. We are a small family based breeder located in the Northern Rivers district of NSW Australia with the goal of breading extremely healthy dogs to the highest breed standards while maintaining that winning temperament, loyalty and intelligence that has made the Labrador Retriever one of the most popular dog breeds in the world.

As a dedicated breeder who is trying to reduce the presence of hereditary diseases that can occur in Labrador Retrievers all of our Dogs and Bitches are X-rayed and scored for hips & elbow dysplasia and either hold certificates or are clear through lineage for Exercised Induced Collapse (ECI) and Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA).

While some puppies are selected for the show-ring most are carefully matched with new families dependant on each puppies individual personalities and activity levels.

Our puppies are raised in a family environment and are well socialised from a young age with other dogs and children. Due to their regular interaction with our family and guests they are desensitised to human touch and many noises.

All our dogs and puppies are health tested regularly, vaccinated,wormed, microchiped and come with pedegree papers under our Registered prefix "Alforare" with Dogs NSW.

Stellabs Labradors is situated on the far north coast NSW. We are a small breeder currently with 3 dogs. Our dogs enjoy running free on our 5-acre property. They are part of our family and our daily lives. All our dogs have been DNA tested to rule out any genetic disease. They have had good results with hip and elbow scores. We are expecting a litter from Stella and Geronimo mid May this should be a yellow and black litter. Both dogs are chosen for their temperament Stella is not only a gorgeous looking labrador she is also extremely intelligent and the super happy wiggler of our crew. Geronimo (Roni) is our gorgeous giant he is your take anywhere dog that everybody loves never misbehaves but super goofy.
