We have travelled to New Zealand, UK and USA observing field/working bred labradors. We continue to visit America sourcing working field line genetics.

Health is also highly valued. For example, we were the first Australian labrador breeder to test for exercise induced collapse and centronuclear myopathy. Additionally retinal dysplasia/osd. We are involved in DNA research.

AVA hip and elbow dysplasia grading schemes are performed achieving great results.

We are proud of breeding multiple Australian National Retrieving Trial Champions. Again a record number in this country. The Australian National Retrieving Trial Championship is normally held in September.

We are proud of breeding many search and rescue dogs.

Pippa and Scooter welcomed a litter of 7 gorgeous pups on 27 August 2024. Both parents are all clear on DNA testing, which means all pups will also be all clear. Both parents have well below average hips and elbow scores.
Pippa is a beautiful placid and gentle girl with great manners and one of the best mums I have had.
Scooter is a handsome redfox boy with a great drive and wonderful off switch. He has sired both assistance and education support dogs as well as very talented retrieving trial dogs, he has international bloodlines and great working dog pedigree.
We still have both boys and girls available from this repeat breeding, ranging from cream to redish.
Pups will come with a two great two puppy packs, one with pedigree, DNA and hips and elbow of parents; as well as information on puppy. The second puppy pack contains, a piece of fleece pups have had since birth, a toy, worming tablets for 10 and 12 weeks, a harness, collar, lead and seat belt clip for the car; some chew toys and treats.
We also send out information sheets on worming, feeding, crate training etc to give pup the best start with you.
Pups will come with Australian Kennel Club registration papers, microchipped, vaccinated and wormed. We are always happy to take questions both before and after pup goes to you.

Lukilab Labradors is excited to announce that our girl Lightninglab Rosebud Regent is expecting pups - pregnancy confirmed by scan, to Lukilab Luck of The Irish. This wonderful litter of black and yellow pups will be due beginning of October and for those lucky enough to have one join their families a world of fun begins.

Mum had her first litter 15 months ago and this is her second and last litter. Dad has had many other litters of gorgeous pups. Both parents have had all x-ray and Dna testing done with excellent results. Both are family dogs with great temperaments.

Pups are born inside and graduate to outside nursery leaving me at 8 weeks of age well socialized and confident . They will have been wormed regularly and vaccinated and microchipped prior to leaving. They are raised on a natural diet with small amount of dry food for variety. An extensive puppy pack of information goes to their new homes with them and I am available for follow up during their lifetime. Having been breeding labs for over 21years its safe to say they are addictive !
