Starting my journey into the dog world in 1987. I obtained my first italian greyhound in 2001. we are a small kennel, breeding for quality,healthy pups. As we are not a big kennel there are puppies sometimes available.

Bindahlena is a small, dedicated, home based kennel, based on pretty acerage near Geelong. I am very passionate about the breed, and my dogs are family members, I don’t keep large numbers. My focus been “QUALITY NOT QUANTITY ” . With a long history in dogs, this beautiful little breed have totally captured my heart, and I devote time to showing them and promoting them round the country. But I love nothing more than a evening on the couch surrounded and loved by my dogs. I’ve showed many iggys, both home breed and some for other kennels, to gaining their Australian Champion qualifications and a Grand/Supreme. My bloodlines come from one of the most successful and respected, kennels in the country, with multi Supremes, Grands and Best In Show Winners. And top snuggling abilities too lol. On my journey iv had many special wins, at group and show level. I also co-own a lovely boy that we campaigned to a SUPREME CHAMPION and “NO 1 IG IN AUSTRALIA!! “ : ) In my breeding, my focus is correctness, I’m striving for sound, healthy and happy igs, with great temperaments. I aim to maintain elegance, and balance with correct movement. Puppies are born and raised in my home, keeping a close eye on them and mum at all stages. I occasionally have pups available to approved homes. *All dogs/pups are fully health tested, pups come with extensive puppy packs, detailed booklet and lifetime support. Dogs have been my passion since I was a little girl! I am from Latvia, Europe and ‘Zemzari’ means ‘under the tree branches’ in Latvian. I am extremely passionate about the breed - I enjoy doing ‘meet the breed expos’ and my girls come to parks with my toddlers so others can meet and learn more about the breed. To me, health and temperament is paramount. My girls are health tested and live inside with us - on our couches and beds, plenty of space to run around our acreage and they are doted on all day long. This is the environment our puppies will grow up in too. My girls Evie and Shadow are shown here and there and both have won “Best of Breed” at some shows. I am a new, small registered breeder of Italian Greyhounds. My two girls, Evie and Shadow, will produce the first Zemzari litters which I am so so excited about! Rest assured, I am in the capable hands of my very experienced mentors - Chris from Skyefall and Liz from Tahrae. I expect to have litters towards the end of 2024. Expressions of Interest We are seeking expressions of interest for our upcoming litter of beautiful Italian Greyhound puppies. Parents are from the old Australian lines. All of our puppies are bred in accordance with the ANKC registration requirement for purebred dogs. Our dogs are part of the family. Puppies are whelped in the lounge room and are reared in the house. They are raised according to Puppy Culture principles. We are happy to share regular updates from whelping as they grow into the lovely little dogs that will become your companion. They are accompanied by a comprehensive Puppy Pack, 6 weeks Insurance cover and Lifetime support. They will be DNA profiled for proof of parentage, wormed, vet checked, vaccinated, microchipped and registered with Dogs Queensland Limited Register (You will receive pedigree "papers"). This registration gives you the ability to participate in Obedience and Agility Competition. Our puppies are toilet trained to an indoor system. Our puppies tend to be varying shades of blue, black and seal, although occasionally we have a lighter blue-fawn or even a fawn puppy. We don’t take any deposits or allocate any puppies until after their 6-week check-up/vaccination appointment with the Vet.
