In the years since I've gained valuable knowledge shared by highly respected breed mentors and had experience in competition and breeding. My focus for breeding is for health, temperament and breed type, by utilizing both Australian and imported lines. Heart and Hip and Elbow testing are standard practice. With over 50 years involvement with the breed in England and Australia I am always happy to help with advice, if I am able. Puppies are only available very occasionally from bloodlines encompassing the best of Australia, America and Europe. CREENA - We are a small kennel situated in the Adelaide Hills, concentrating on quality rather than quantity. Health and temperament are equally important to us , prior to breeding any of our hounds, they undergo breed screening heart checks from a veterinary specialist cardiologist and are x-rayed for both hip and elbow dysplasia with official scores publicly available on the Irish Wolfhound Database. Our imported bitch, Grand Champion Fleetwood Maureen At Creena is the first Irish wolfhound import to gain the title of Grand Champion, an accomplishment we are immensely proud of and her offspring are winning well in Australia , New Zealand and the UK All the hounds keep extremely fit running on our acreage and some, due to their calm, steady temperament, have been used as service dogs, visiting elderly hospital patients. They are also very devoted to the youngest members of our family; all puppies are given the opportunity to interact with young children whilst being raised at Creena All dogs bred by us have full complete pedigrees with full registered names in every generation

At Tirowen we are one of the pioneers in the breed in Australia, having been committed to this special breed for almost fifty years now. Our first Irish Wolfhound was Ch Erindale Fortuna (imp UK) who came to us late in 1972 and since then we have continued to build the breed, importing dogs and semen from leading bloodlines in Europe, the United Kingdom and America. Our hounds are first and foremost our companions, bred to be family dogs. We breed for temperament, health, longevity and type. The fruits of our efforts can be seen in many homes here and abroad - but also in the showring where we have an illustrious history. Tirowen owned and/or bred Irish Wolfhounds have achieved the ultimate accolade in the showring winning 37 Best in Shows at Specialties in Australia. Anne and Francis are both International dog judges and have judged the breed in Europe, the United States, Canada, Ireland and New Zealand at Specialty level. We are excited to announce that our beautiful “Ivy” is expecting her 2nd litter of puppies on the 15th of November. If you are interested in a puppy from this litter please email us at [email protected] All puppies will be sold on limited registration through Dogs QLD only meaning no breeding rights & for pet homes only. They will come with their first vaccinations, worming up to date, microchipping done as well as a vet check & a puppy pack to help settle them into their new homes. We are located Middlemount QLD but as we know this is quite rural we are happy to discuss helping with getting the puppies closer at no cost pending location (Toowoomba, Mackay area, ect) & happy to arrange transport at buyer’s expense.

Male and Female Red/White and Tri pups available early December. Parents have full genetic profile. The pups will be Dogs Qld registered, vaccinated, vet checked and micro-chipped and wormed regularly. Pups will come with a puppy pack. Pups love their afternoon play in the yard with the grandkids.

We have 1 pups available from our current litter born 23 September 2024. There is currently 1 male red and white pup available ( with tail) These pups are now 10 weeks old and are ready to go to their new homes. The puppies have been well handled since birth ( mum Dusty outdid herself and produced 9 gorgeous pups) as we were supplementing feed from Day 1. The puppies have been vaccinated and microchipped. They have been wormed fortnightly. The pups have been reared on a premium kibble in conjunction with BARF puppy mixture. Pups will go to their new homes with sufficient food to make the transition easier. The pup has now had his second vaccination Our pups are reared in the home and are socialised with some of our other dogs. They have had time to run and play in our grassed front yard ( under supervision). These pups will be registered with Dogs NSW on Limited registration meaning that they are not to be bred from or shown but can still participate in other dog sports such as agility, scentwork, obedience etc. The pups will go on a desex contract that requires them to be desexed once they reach adequate maturity ( between 8 and 12 months). My pups go to their new homes with a puppy pack to make the transition easier. I am always available to provide support for my puppy buyers. We are currently accepting holding deposits on our beautiful litter of pure breed Welsh Corgi Pembroke Puppies. There are four females available. They are being hand raised in a family environment on our small farm on the outskirts of Melbourne and are socialised with other animals and children. They have been wormed fortnightly since birth, will undertake a full veterinary check and microchip prior to leaving and will have Pedigree papers with Dogs Victoria. They are very sweet and affectionate and we would love to find them beautiful homes. Puppies will come with a new puppy pack including one month of pet insurance to start them on their new adventure.
