Bunyarra Irish Water Spaniels are bred from the World's most famous lines, are health tested for hips, elbows, thyroid, eyes and heart health. I breed occasionally and although I don't keep a waiting list I like to get to know the potential owners of my pups well before I give the nod for one to come your way.

Litters date expected can never be exact as bitches do not always follow instructions given, so month stated is a guesstimate. There are only a few IWS breeders operating in Australia so you may have to wait for a pup. If you decide to get another breed when you have asked for a Bunyarra IWS pup, please let me know . I understand fully but do not want to find out that many of my "homes" are no longer there when pups are already on the way. It is part of RESPONSIBLE breeding.

Protecting the integrity of the Irish Water Spaniel's looks and personality according to the standards and history is paramount at Bunyarra. Bred always to be great pets, sometimes they become great show dogs, field hunting dogs, obedience , agility, trick dogs or whatever you want them to be . Irish Water Spaniels are like chocolates. I bred my first litter of Pembroke corgis in 1972. Our pups have always been raised in our home with 24 hour care. We are raising baby pups here at the moment and enquiries are always welcome. Our family picnic days have been fun and allowed people to meet our dogs and pups. We hope to hold two more picnics before the end of this year, no dates have been set yet. If you would like to attend please send me a note. We have been testing our corgis for problems associated with hips, elbows, eyes and hearts since 2003 and are confident of being able to offer pups with very low risk of these disorders. Our entire breeding program is clear of SCID, EIC, and vWD. Vaccination, worming, microchipping and six weeks free pet insurance is standard. Since 2010 my friends and I have been very successful showing dogs owned and/or bred by Nireno at major international competitions. Our genetics are consistently competitive against the very best in the world, including at Crufts this year.
