Welcome to VIZWYRE Kennels, a New Zealand imported bitch who comes from French & Hungarian lines. All dogs are Health Tested for Hereditary diseases and are HUU Clear, Hip/Elbow Scores with excellent scores. My dogs are shown and work in multipule disaplines gaining Titles in the Show Ring with Ch Mcas Mist CD TD winning mulipule BIG's & Puppy in Show when age of 9 months & has begun gaining her performance Titles in Obedience, open Tracking, & Working in competition.

Indi Dual Ch (T) Habanero Emotional Rescue UD RE ET now aged 13 yrs is retired but is still is an amazing hunter/tracker and auntie to puppies.

Vizwyre puppies are bought up in a loving home environment, socialized around general household noises, other adults, children & are bought up to be confident & outgoing puppies with excellent temperament that fit into family, hunting & performance/show.

I will always love the Wirehaired Vizsla and continue support for my Vizwyre puppy buyers, I will be involved in the future of HWV’s in Australia working with those I have mentored but not breeding them myself.
Circumstances have changed and a smaller breed will allow my love of performance sports & breeding to continue into the future. I will be welcoming a Border Terrier to my family of Hung Wirehaired Vizslas hopefully by the end of the year.

We are located in outer north east Melbourne and have been in love with Hungarian wirehaired vizslas since we got our first boy in 2017. In 2023 we added an unrelated female and plan on breeding her in 2025. They have excellent Hungarian, French and UK show and perfomance lines. We are actively involved with our dogs; both have gained their Australian Champion titles plus we compete in Retrieving and Field Trials. We hunt ducks and quail with our vizslas and both are trained to find and hold point, to be steady to the shot and to retrieve to hand. Most importantly they are calm and affectionate in the home, have excellent temperaments, intelligent and respond well to training. To improve the gene pool in Australia we have imported semen from an impressively bred Hungarian dog that is now living in the US. He was awarded Best of Breed at the 2024 Winchester Kennel Club Show and has gained American hunting titles and performs very well on upland birds. We health test our dogs, including the donor sire, and all have excellent hips and elbows, are free of inherited diseases (HUU) and are genetically tested for wire coats. We plan on raising the litter in our own home using the Puppy Culture method. We will develop a questionaire for potential owners so that we can best determine the most suitable pup to fit each new family's environment and lifestyle. Icepaws kennels was established in 1997 and prides themselves on there on going assistance provided to families that open there homes up to my pups.

All Icepaws babies are brought up in a family environment in my home. They have a wonderful play room and are well socialized with friends and the rest of the pack at Icepaws.

Vet checked, microchipped, DNA to prove parentage, vaccinated once at 6 weeks with a C3. Pups are wormed every 2 weeks before leaving for their new home.

Puppy’s brough as Pet will be placed on limited register, (meaning not to be bred or shown). Pedigree papers will be forwarded on when processed by Dogs QLD.

All pups come with an Icepaws Puppy Buyer Guide Book, this booklet has everything you need to know about your pup and so much more (over 30 pages long, and sent once deposit is paid) a
Royal Canin pack as well as a small travel blanket a grooming comb and collar. All babies are crate trained, toilet trained and are well developed settled pups in any environment at Icepaws.

Parents are Excellent examples of the breed. The Sire’s dad is NO.1 Alaskan Malamute in Australia.

Health Tested A grade hips and 0 elbows. DNA clear of genetic faults and thyroid clear.

Their bloodlines are world known in Alaskan Malamutes to produce stunning examples of the breed
