At Venustus Great Danes, nothing is more important than the health, happiness and security of our Danes. They are our family and we love them. One of the primary motivations for our breeding program is so others can get to enjoy the love, trust and humor that only a Great Dane can provide.
We breed selectively and ethically . We have been registered breeders for over 20years and had 8 litters in that time. We do not believe in producing litter after litter to make money or meet demand . We breed when the timing is right for us and our Danes. We have been planning and breeding for this litter since 2010. This has included importing a bitch from the United States of America, living in the US for 3 months and developing relationships with many well established and respected Harlequin breeders. This includes Riverwoods and Saravilla. We have attended a number of the Great Dane Club of America (GDCA) National Shows. This also included creating and sponsoring the Best In Specialty Show Trophy and Swarovski beaded collars for the GDCA Rescue raffle at a number these shows. We have sponsored the NSW BISS trophy.
We do participate in conformation dog show.
