We currently have puppies.
My name is Michelle Kleinschmidt and I am blessed to have owned and love Golden Retrievers for over more then 24 years. I am based in Brisbane, QLD
I started out my career in the Veterinary industry at the young age of 16 and have continued to work alongside many specialists and amazing colleagues throughout my almost 26 years within the industry.
This brings about my passion for producing healthy and sound temperament Golden Retrievers.
My love for the Golden retriever started at a very young age and they will forever be my soul dog.
I breed only a couple of times a year. My babies are raised and socialised in a family environment with my three children.
All health testing is performed prior to breeding and only then do I select the best quality and healthiest dogs to breed from. Hip and Elbow scoring, Heart and Optho (eye) certified clearances via a specialist and DNA testing all completed.
My page Goldempress Golden Retrievers can be found on Facebook and new puppy families can also follow the progress of their babies with frequent updates on a private page managed by myself, and i offer life long support and advice.
I am ANKC registered, a member of the Golden Retriever Club QLD and have shown my dogs in the past and am now excited to enter the show ring once again with my dogs.

We currently have a couple of young Golden Retrievers that we are hoping to breed in the next 12 months.

I have been a registered breeder for over 20 years and a registered Veterinary Surgeon for over 30 years.

My aim is to breed healthy and sound Golden Retrievers with good temperaments. We live on a small farm on the Southern Downs and my dogs have plenty of room to enjoy an active lifestyle. My pups are raised as part of the family with plenty of stimulation and have wonderful temperaments.

All my adult dogs have been hip and elbow scored with low scores. My dogs are all checked by a Specialist Veterinary Cardiologist to ensure they are free of any congenital heart conditions at 12 months of age prior to breeding. They are also checked by a Specialist Veterinary Ophthalmologist to ensure they are free of any genetic eye conditions. My dogs have been fully DNA tested to make sure they are clear of all the genetic diseases that can be tested for. My puppies are all DNA tested to confirm parentage. They are thoroughly vet checked in the first 8 weeks, prior to going to their new homes.

I am happy to offer ongoing support and veterinary advice, including a comprehensive puppy folder with plenty of information to help new puppy buyers.

Whiskey & Tess had a litter 12 May 2024 and have a girl and 3 boys available on 7 July 2024.

Goldfrost is a small Kennel in Near Kingaroy with a focus on Temperament and Heath. Our focus is to match the pup most suited to your home and family. We are a family run kennel with only a small number of dogs who all live here with us. We do not do guardian homes or breeder contracts.

We are strongly involved to the dog world as show secretary as part of the Nanango Kennel Club and volunteer with all dog sports provided by the club. Our entire focus is on our dogs and the to support the dog community as a whole.

All parents are fully health tested with copies of results available.
