Finmaws is situated on an farm in the lovely hills of Sth Gippsland where there is fresh air and space for puppies to play and grow in a healthy and happy environment. Our dogs are an important part of our family and share our home with us. Puppies are socialised with people, other dogs, cats and a variety of farm animals.

Small kennel located in inner east of Melbourne. We strive for soundness and temperament in golden retrievers.
As we are still a relatively new kennel, we are not taking any names for a waiting list at this stage. We are happy to discuss future options and litters but please understand we will not be keeping a waiting list.
Australian Champion Fernfall Colour My World "Ollie" is a proven sire and is available to approved bitches. He is a certified therapy dog and has a one in a million temperament, as well as producing structurally and mentally sound puppies.
I am a past committee member of the Golden Retriever Club of Victoria and actively contribute to the improvement of the breed with my dogs. My dogs live in my home and are often found on the couch or on my bed - they are first and foremost pets and family. When we are not showing, we spend our weekends exploring new places and socializing. They have more friends than me!
My dogs hold clear certificates for eye and heart tests, have undergone hip and elbow x-rays and scoring, along with full DNA testing.

Goldens have been a huge part of our family and our home for over 10 years now.
We are very small breeders who only have puppies available occasionally.
Our Goldens are health and vet checked annually and prior to breeding, regularly wormed, have been hip/elbow scored, DNA tested and hold clear heart and eye certificates.
Puppies are raised within our loving family home alongside our four children, and their amazing tolerant temperaments reflect this environment.
All our previous puppies have been beautiful chunky healthy and intelligent babies that have become amazing much loved and valued members of their new families who keep us updated with their progress.
We have been involved with the dog world in breed shows, agility & obedience for over 35 years. Temperament is of paramount importance, as our dogs must be able to blend into our family and everyday life, as well as being exhibited.
Our dogs are hip scored, elbow scored, & heart and eye certified, & DNA tested.
We take our responsibilities as an ethical breeder seriously, & our pups only go to approved forever homes. Contact is maintained with owners for the life span of the dog, and as friendships develop - sometimes beyond that.
We provide a 16 page puppy care/training/health/diet manual/resources with our pups, as well as information on grooming, joining Dogs Victoria and Golden Retriever Club, and council dog reg.etc
Our puppies are raised as part of our family, & are well socialised with people, our Burmese cats, & other dogs. Pups spend their first 5 weeks in the house, and are engaged with many interactive toys and confidence building resources and Puppy Culture canine enrichment protocols.
It is of vital importance to us that our pups only go to the best homes, so we like to talk by phone, then meet prospective owners. We are happy to email photos, pedigree and other information to prospective purchasers after we have spoken by phone.

Ally is expecting her litter this end of January 2024. We have high expectations upon this litter. Sired by Finlay, australian champion titled, we will expect light to dark golden pups. Both sire and dam have excellent health test results, including great hips and elbow scores, passed heart and eye tests, and DNA tested free from hereditary diseases.

Sisteam has an outstanding litter of little boys who will be light gold in colouring.
These pups are ready to go home on 3rd August, Choosing date 20th July and will be discounted from this week. A great chance to get a top quality puppy for less. (we know times are harder for many families now!)
