Breeding quality puppies with beautiful temperaments.
Our Goldens are very much part of our family and do not live in a kennel environment.
We live on 14 acres in lovely Gippsland which is only a few hours from Melbourne and 10 minutes from Sale.
We are registered breeders with dogs victoria and have been breeding for almost 12 years now.
Our dogs all have very good hip and elbow scores , clear heart certificates and current clear eye certificates.
Our goldens are also DNA tested
Having a litter of puppies is a huge commitment and while we have puppies here everything revolves around them as it should.
We have a wonderful vet who comes to our property and vet checks each litter at 3 weeks of age and again at 6 weeks of age.

*Puppies sold on limited register /mains only to registered breeders by agreement
*vaccinated
*vet checked twice- minimum
*microchipped
*raised on black hawk dry food and ,prime 100 roll
*wormed every 2 weeks from birth
*treated with revolution at 6 weeks of age
*go home with a comprehensive puppy pack including 6 weeks free pet insurance and everything to get you started.
*Our puppies spend the first 4 -5 weeks inside our home until they need a larger area for exploring.

Both sire and dam have excellent health test results, including great hips and elbow scores, passed heart and eye tests, and DNA tested free from hereditary diseases.

We are a small kennel based in Berwick, VIC.
We aim to breed sound, healthy puppies who are happy, confident and have good conformation.

It’s important that our puppies have the best start in life and that’s why our puppies will be raised following the Puppy Culture guidelines. I come from a pet retail background and have been running puppy schools for nearly 10 years. My foundation girl is from Fernfall Golden Retrievers who have been breeding since 1980. Jane is a great friend of mine and a fantastic mentor.

Our dogs are part of a large and loved family, so our puppies are raised in the home around children, cats and other dogs. They’re exposed to lots of different environments and situations that ensure that they leave here as a well rounded puppy who is happy and confident.

I provide support for my puppy owners all throughout that puppies life and like to keep up to date with my puppy owners.

Health testing is done for all breeding dogs and we provide these results for our puppy owners when they take home one of our puppies.

• Orivet genetic testing (full breed profile) - this ensures that no heritable disease is passed on to the next generation

• ANKC hips and elbow xrays

• Eye examination by a specialist

• Heart examination performed by specialist

All puppies come with ANKC Limited Pedigrees, up to date worming, vaccinations and are microchipped at 6 weeks.

Bontonala is a small family kennels situated in Berwick.
All our adult fur-babies have been hip/elbow tested, DNA tested, eye certificate and heart checked and live with us in our home. Pups are raised and socialized in amongst our young family from birth with the goal to provide them the best start to life. All pups go to there forever homes after careful consideration with up-to-date vaccinations, worming and will be microchipped. All questions are welcome.
