Whistlewire is a small but select kennel showing and breeding German Wirehaired Pointers (GWP). We only keep a small number of quality dogs, all of which are from the finest imported bloodlines for temperament and behaviour. Our dogs are raised in a loving environment and are members of our family - not just dogs. All our dogs are health tested and have had their hip and elbow scoring done with excellent results. They have also been DNA profiled by Orivet Genetic Pet Care and their information uploaded into the national health database. Our puppies are raised within the home and socialised and we undertake DNA parentage testing of pups as required for registraion by Dogs Qld. This guarantees new owners the pups they are getting are from parentage on the pedigree – Dam and Sire. We have a lovely red boy looking for his new home, green collar boy will unfortunately grow bigger than the breed standard asks for so he is looking a pet home $2000 He is a robust, healthy boy who love his people, he loves a cuddle. He's a quick learning and is learning some lovely leash manners and has mastered sit!! All our puppies are raised on the puppy culture program and are exposed to lots of different sounds including thunderstorms, power tools etc from the moment their ears open. ENS from 3 to 16 days He's been raised with cats and other dogs in our home. Has had a great start to toilet training, crate trained, travels very well in the car, has had his nails dremeled every week.
