Avadarban is a small registered kennel set on acreage based in the Bathurst area. The kennel was established in 2012,which has produced sound quaility puppies across 8 litters. We are a small breeder on Sydney's Northern Beaches and our puppies and older dogs live in a family home and compete in Agility and Rally Obedience.

We believe GSPs should both look good in the show ring and perform in the field. We are currently working towards a Duel Champion titles for all our dogs. Fenrik German Shorthaired Pointers have the backing of 50 years experience in the breed - in the obedience ring, show ring, retrieving/gundog trials and, over the last 25 years, in agility trials. Sound healthy dogs and temperaments are necessary. Our dogs are superb athletes who compete at the highest level in agility. They love to train and play with us, and yet, happy to lounge around and relax when it is not play time. Ideal family pets for the active family, great with kids and easy to care for. As a vet we give our pups the best start to a long and healthy life. As dog trainers, we know the importance of the early weeks of up bringing to create a cheeky outgoing confident pup that is unlikely to have behavioural issues. We have just the one beautiful black puppy looking for his new family. He is gentle, outgoing, confident and playful. We have been breeding our beautiful type of elegant GSP for more than 50 years. We compete in dogs sports to prove our dogs’ soundness, intelligence and more importantly their temperament and trainability. Our litters have many generations of breeding lines that have been exceptionally successful competing in many of the dog sports. Because we are dog trainers, we pay special attention to socialisation, frequent handling, exploring different environments and varied experiences to ensure a confident, friendly, outgoing nature. Pups are raised to encourage easy house training, not to jump all over you and wants to come when called. As a vet I ensure the best healthy start to life. Pups are wormed, heart worm prevention started, micro-chipped and vaccinated. They are kept at correct lean weight to minimise future joint problems. We give full follow up, and love to keep in touch with our pups, including a Facebook group for our owners where we continue to publish photos, news and advice. The puppies were born on 28/09/2024 and will be ready for their new homes around 23/11/2024. We now only have one male puppy available Still availability for this litter and taking expressions of interest. 3.5-year-old male GSP up for consideration. His current family is unable to keep him long-term, due to a change in their circumstances. He is an affectionate boy who sleeps inside has grown up on a farm is great with children. Has a great manners and enjoys being around other dogs and animals.
