Welcome to Diamontali Finnish Lapphunds!

At Diamontali, we're focused on breeding top quality Finnish Lapphunds using responsible, ethical and scientific methods. We breed for quality, health and temperament, not quantity, and each litter is well planned and carefully considered.

Our aim to breed this beautiful dog is to ensure the classic beauty, temperament and health of Finnish Lapphunds flourishes and that each individual dog can reach its true potential. I'm highly focused on placing puppies with loving, caring and devoted homes who will be lifelong friends and enable their dog to shine.

My dogs are first and foremost my beloved pets and family members who are actively engaged in all parts of our daily life, dog training and sports. With our breeding program, best practices are implemented to ensure that genetic diversity of the breed is enhanced with each litter, including DNA Health testing, Temperament testing, Pedigree Analysis and a strong Code of Ethics.

We are planning two very exciting litters in 2025 - these puppies are the result of many years of planning, and will absolutely be worth the wait!!

Hi, I'm Claire C.
Tirnacu from the Irish gaeilge "Tir Na Cu" means land of dogs. It sums up our home quite well, Its all about the dogs here. We are a small scale program.Our two girls Croia and Esky are predominantly much loved pets. Our Puppies are raised in the heart of the home and life centres around the dogs and pups.

We follow a ENS and puppy culture style raising plan and aim to produce well rounded confident pups ready to take on the world as wonderful companions.

I work as a Veterinarian and our dogs are fully health tested.
I am also happy to do meet and greets with my adult dogs for those interested in meeting and getting to know the breed. The homes our puppies move on to get backup for life and we would love to hear updates on their new lives with their new families.

The 2024 ‘Seeds of Time’ litter have all gone to their new families. Next litter likely 2025. Very small chance of a late 2024 litter. Reach out if you want a Bucolick puppy specifically.

I place most puppies with owners and families who live within 3 hrs of our farm in South East Queensland. This is broadly South to Byron, West to Toowoomba and North to Noosa. Some distant placements may be OK for experienced or breeder homes, so if you think you might be fantastic lappie owners, don't be shy about reaching out.

About us:

We were dog-free busy professionals for 20 years. Then in 2016 we realigned our priorities and bought an old farmhouse. Two gorgeous Lapphunds joined the family. We've never looked back.

This is a superb companion breed but definitely not for everyone: a well-chosen puppy would fit well into many different family and home settings provided you really know what you are buying! We hope to breed healthy, temperamentally friendly, sound, trainable and breed-typey dogs.
