We have been showing dogs for 30 years, including Malamutes and Australian Shepherds. We also enjoy competing in Agility, Obedience, Rally and Sled Dog Sports and like to keep our dogs active in mind, spirit and physical condition.
We are a small kennel in North East Victoria and only breed occasionally, when we are in a position to keep progeny for ourselves and hopefully improve on the quality, health and temperaments that we already have. All puppies are health tested and have a guarantee of lifetime support from us.

The enchanting Finnish Lapphund entered our lives in 2012 and we are very fortunate to have 4 beautiful Lappies that rule our world. We also have one of Tawnee's lovely kids Chaz - CH Polarpaws Black Diamond CD RA ADX JDX SPDX SD WNPD and the newest member, young Ellie - Aetozee Beverly Kills at Polarpaws

We consider Lappies an 'all round' breed, very trainable for most sports but their spitz temperament still shines through, which is what makes them special and at times challenging! Very talented and smart but also cheeky, naughty and super fun.

Finnish Lapphunds first caught our eye in 2011. They are a beautiful intelligent breed that will win over your heart!
We offer our dogs a diverse and varied lifestyle as a true member of our family. They experience life be it camping, bushwalking, 4WDriving and coming to work with us which leads to being great companions and contributes greatly to their well being.
We also participate in obedience and confirmation showing.
Our philosophy is to breed with the healthiest stock we can. We spend a lot of time researching pedigrees and health of dogs, importing semen which keeps our lines strong and healthy and the gene pool diverse.
We breed lappies fit for the purpose intended. We do not breed often, we breed with prcd-PRA clear dogs and we are about quality and not quantity. We carry out extensive health testing prior to breeding.
Our puppies and dogs are raised and live in our home. We place our puppies where they will be loved in show, sports or companion homes. We are also looking for like minded people who are willing to be part of our journey and offer preservation homes(to contribute to the future of the breed). We offer lifetime support.
Enquires are always welcome - we are passionate about preserving this wonderful breed and are happy for you to meet our dogs, ask questions and chat about this beautiful breed.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve always had a fondness for working dogs. It wasn’t until 2009, after countless hours of research for a suitable working breed, and as if by chance, that I stumbled on a picture of a Finnish Lapphund. I began asking around and sent enquires and finally in 2011 I was blessed with my first Lappie Heidi. I’ve never looked back and since then, have added two more to my clan

Lappies have had such an amazing impact on my life and I hope to bring this same joy and love to many others in the future.

We don’t breed often and aim to keep our numbers at home small so each dog can have the love and attention they deserve. We are always looking for loving homes to help us showcase this amazing breed by offering a welcoming family and for some, by allowing their dog to contribute to the future of Ehana. Our dogs successfully compete in conformation showing as well as a number of performance sports. We welcome any enquires from potential families who would like to dip their toe in either of these worlds and are happy to mentor and support anyone wanting to give them a go.

Lumottu is the Finnish word for Enchanted and that is what sums up a Finnish Lapphund for me, Enchanting.

I fell in love with the breed in 2009 and have since added two into my household. Along with my dogs I enjoy my weekends attending conformation shows as well as obedience classes.

Lappies fit into a household with ease. Happy to be out and about or sleeping on the couch.

There are 2 girls and 2 boys, all Black Tan & White, they all have fabulous rich tan markings from their sire.
DOB 31/3/24 and they will be ready to go to their new homes now.

Puppies have had two vaccinations, be registered with Dogs NSW, microchipped and come with an extensive puppy pack, training information, will be registered with the Australasian Animal Register and the Companion Animal register for those in NSW, 6 weeks pet insurance and lifetime support.

All of my Lappies of breeding age are DNA tested and have hip and elbow scores as well as eye testing done before breeding, a copy of this comes with your puppy pack.
