Our aim at Bayspring is to produce sound, healthy puppies with that soft, effervescent temperament and wanting to please attitudes of these gorgeous dogs. Breeding stock will have all the required health checks.
We have had English Springer Spaniels since 1985 after our last English setter passed away. We have been fortunate to have bred two litters of healthy, happy and much loved puppies from our Duke and Keira while living in the NT. This was under our previous prefix Kinross.
We continue to study the breed and have had some wonderful mentors to guide us in selecting worthy dogs to rekindle our interest to produce sound, correct springers who will bring love, loyalty and that special springer pizzaz to their owners. We will mentor prospective buyers who are interested in showing our puppies.
Our current team have been consistent winners in the show ring though they all love nothing better than running the beaches in Bremer Bay.

Esspree home of the English and Welsh Springer Spaniels, My name is Julie Hiscott and I live in Perth Western Australia. We have a modern state of the art boarding kennel licensed for fifty dogs nestled in lush green gardens, I share my love of dogs with my Daughter Karen.

English Springer Spaniels have been my heart breed for over 30 years. My first prefix was Springdale.

We do not breed often and only when we want a pup for ourselves. We always endeavor to maintain the breed standard and only go forward with what we see as a true and correct example of each breed. We do all necessary medical and genetic testing on breeding stock.

We Recently Imported a Black and White boy from Avendesora lines in Poland and he is producing lovely true to type pups with fantastic temperaments.

In 2018 we imported Barecho Custom Made (Björn) and Barecho B Witched (Annika) bred by Helene and David Björkman in Sweden. We started showing in July 2018, both dogs attained Australian Champion in 2019 and have picked up multiple awards since, including a RUBIS for Annika in 2022.

Annika and Bjorn are live-in family! In 2019 they had their first litter of seven, with Arvid and Anja remaining with us under our prefix - Wytcher Angel Eyes and Wytcher Dancing Queen respectively - now both Aus Champions.

Annika and Björn gave us the beautiful B litter of 10 in 2021 - the irresistible Wytcher B Dazzled ‘Beatris’ was our keeper, with Wytcher B Spellbound ‘Lily’ moving to Darwin (a rockstar already with 5 BIS), and Wytcher B Starbright ‘Bella’ moving to Victoria.

We intend only to breed to maintain a springer as part of our family life.

We have a beautiful litter of working (field) Springer Spaniel pups, liver and white. Born 3 February 2024.

Springer spaniels are highly intelligent, super friendly, extremely playful, fantastic with kids and very easy to train. They are low shed, with no professional grooming required.

Our puppies are being raised with children and are very well socialised with kids, adults and other dogs. They are being regularly taken out on walks and to dog parks, the bush and different environments. They love swimming in the river.

The puppies are from exceptional working lines:
Dam - LANCSPRIDE CRUMPET (Meeka) sired by (Kenny) owned by Ben Harding of Archaway Spaniels.
Sire - PENDARAN CHELAN OF EDGEGROVE imported from the UK (Logan) owned by Patrick Torrens of Rosstulla Gundogs.

Both parents have been DNA tested and are clear of common spaniel disorders including PRA Cord1 and Fucosidosis. Puppies have been health checked, micro-chipped, wormed and vaccinated up to date. Their eyes/retina have also been tested and are all clear.
