I'm in Western Sydney. I founded DDB Rescue & the Dogue Club. I showed extensively from 2002 to 2012, where my dogs excelled in the ring, but rarely show now. I still do what I can for breed education, rescue & judges training. I have the occasional litter - well planned & only for improvement, using only the best type, lines & health scores.

I pride myself on researching quality lines & health, and personally travelling overseas to view puppies, parents, siblings and dogs in the lines I import. 5 times I attended the French Clubmatch and visited European kennels, all to see the dogues for myself.

I have lines from 4 quality European Clubmatch winners, all proven at Elite level. Enferno, BIS French & Dutch. Cetje, BIS Dutch. Apollo, BIS Dutch. Moby, twice BIS French. BUT chosen for their proven strengths and conformation. All seen in the flesh except for Apollo.

I have imported 4 dogues, Rhodonite Roman Emberez, Lois Bellarouge zOrisku, Nathaniel zOrisku and Southern Cross zOrisku. And semen from Enferno van de Paterhoek.

My Chewie & Ripley were the dogs in the Olympus Digital Camera campaign! Panda was in the KissFM advert. Paddy in the Frontline advert. Bronson on the DogsNSW magazine cover. My dogs are family housedogs. I only keep a limited number of dogs myself, to maintain that family feeling.

My dogs are health tested. Pups are registered with DogsNSW & DNA'd on request. Pups come with a health guarantee/contract for buyer/breed protection.

*no current breeding dogs, but please read my listing*

Before dogues, I had Rottweilers for 18 yrs. I got my first Dogue in 2003. Through her I met a lot of great breeders, willing to help with advice & subsequently formed some very good friendships. This is why I started rescuing other Dogues in need, finding them forever homes.

Responsible breeding is important. Through rescue, I have seen much heartache, being the result of poor breeding practices. Dogs that need to be put down before they are 2 yrs old, others dropping dead from underlying heart conditions, mange that needs expensive ongoing treatment & other crippling hereditary conditions – all easily preventable through ethical breeding.

In 2009, Viva came to live with me. I enjoyed showing her to her Aust title. In 2011, Vegas joined my family. Having such a lengthy history with the breed, I am in the perfect position to make informed choices for the future of my kennel. I pride myself on my research & ethical approach to breeding.

I am the President of DDB Rescue in Aust and past President of the Utility Dog Club of NSW.

I am here to help preserve the future of the breed. I am happy for people to contact me for a chat, advice, or re: rescues/rehomes. Non urgent enq via email please. Visit: www.dogueinfo.weebly.com and www.ddbrescue.com
