Saltywaters Dogue De Bordeaux's are a boutique kennel, located in Smythes Creek (Ballarat) on 5 acres. Our dogs are part of the family. We breed for temperament & soundness. We can assist with interstate travel. Our dogs are part of our family and are raised with children of all ages with my nieces and my own children. Our dogs have shown absolutely NO aggression toward children whatsoever, if anything they show so much love for the younger children.

We are a small select kennel striving to uphold the French Mastiffs reputation. We focus on type, temperament and health. Thus, we breed from the best lines possible. Our dogs are apart of our family and have been brought up around kids and other animals. Our mastiffs are placid, gentle and calm in nature. Due to our dogs being naturally family orientated and outstanding in sanity, we have no doubt their pups will be a wonderful asset to your family or as an individual. The Dogue De Bordeaux is a loyal and trustworthy dog as proven with our many years of experience and pleasure with the breed. We take pride in the breed and our dogs, therefore we breed for quality not quantity. With both our dogs coming from outstanding lines, we are keen to uphold the history of this magnificent breed. Grandeaux Dogue de Bordeaux are based in the beautiful Gippsland region of Victoria. We are very passionate and devoted to the Dogue de Bordeaux (DDB), falling in love after our first encounter with this guardian breed back in 2007. They are intelligent, interesting, impressive, imposing and at times infuriating….but they are exactly the way they should be. Our DDBs are an integral part of our family. We have no runs or kennels; our DDBs live as members of the family in our home. They are raised to reach their fullest potential with plenty to do each day from exploring to swimming to playing to sleeping, all whilst enjoying plenty of fresh country air. We do at times exhibit our dogs at conformation shows but our DDBs also relish the stimulation and challenge of obedience training, and they also enjoy socializing in the community. We have a strong belief in promoting and protecting this beautiful breed. Through careful and selective breeding of our DDBs, our aim is to achieve a high standard in their structure, health and temperament. Our DDBs are true to type, that are health tested and from strong Australian and international bloodlines.
