My aim is to breed happy healthy long living dogs that are sound of mind and body. Our dogs are living well into their teens. All breeding stock is DNA tested.
We do not breed often and only when we want something to campaign ourselves. Making up champions, although rewarding, is secondary to finding good homes and as such we do not have contracts requiring people to show their dogs if all they are looking for is a pet/companion. As much I would love to have more of my stock in the show ring, good homes are more important to me than titles. Most puppies go to loving pet homes to people who simply want happy healthy long living dogs.
Was the home of AM/CAN CH STARLAINE WEST SIDE STORY (imp USA). He has numerous BIS winning progeny, Supreme Champions and Champions from limited stud work. Sadly he passed away at over 10 years of age in April 2018. We have imported semen from several overseas dogs in our quest to diversify while keeping our Dobermanns true to type. We also have semen from some well known dogs in Australia.

Jenny (our east coast rep) has lived and loved Dobermanns for 30 years. Zoe and Danielle promote the versatility of the breed training and competing in show and performance arenas.

We believe in the whole Dobermann, Type, temperament, soundness, longevity, versatility.
The primary goal of our breeding program, here at Valkyrian Dobermanns, with health as our first priority, is to produce CORRECT TYPE, the Ultimate Dobermann being loyal, intelligent, elegant, and of powerful breed type.
To this end we have imported 6 Dobermanns in the past 7 years (5 produced by frozen semen of famous dogs from over 20 years ago). They are true to breed type and as such are stable, calm, devoted, highly trainable and intelligent family guardians.
We compete in conformation shows but also Agility, Tracking and games.
We offer full breeder support and like to have new owners stay in touch.
We health test all our potential breeding dogs by full DNA through Orivet.

Myown Dobermanns welcome expressions of interest for our only litter for 2024 which was born 1 July. Ready to go to their new homes in late September.

Both parents are extensively health tested. None of these puppies will be vWD affected, all will be clear for Dings (Vestibular Deafness), no history of heart issues or disease for many generations and are a result of a mating of parents that are from long living healthy lines with most ancestors living well into their teens. Some of the best bloodlines available in the USA, South America and Australia have been combined in this breeding.
Both parents have correct stable temperaments that will be passed on to their puppies. These puppies will be raised in a healthy home environment and will be well socialised with other breeds and cats.
Puppies will be vet checked, vaccinated, dewormed, micro-chipped and registered prior to leaving us. Show potential puppies may be available. Pet/companions are registered on Limited Register (Non-breeding/Showing).
A comprehensive puppy pack is supplied to each new owner and we are available for advice and support for the lifetime of the puppy.
