We have had deerhounds since 1979 and only breed occasionally. We ensure that both sire and dam are suited for each other to ensure the best quality pups.

Over the last 40 or so years, we have only bred 9 litters. It is our belief that only good quality Deerhounds should ever be bred from.

We do not have puppies at present, but may have some in the near future.

The hounds live in rural Victoria.They keep fit by enjoying a run in the bush and swimming in the dam.
All our dogs are tested for ALL forms of cardiac disease, including DCM and ARVC, using echo and proBNP.

I have been involved with Scottish Deerhounds since March 2010
I got my first Deerhound Ember from Bhealaich Kennels. She is Ch Bhealaich Prettyprecosus. I cannot thank Glenda and Chris enough for my beautiful girl who in July 2014 had her first litter.
From this we kept Mirrahcle ~Aust Ch, Neut Ch Luvadeer A Beautiful Mirrahcle~
Mirrahcle became a neuter in 2020 and titled easily in 8 months after a lengthy lockdown. We are so proud of this girl. In 2022 Mirrahcle was Top Neuter Hound for Victoria.

In 2021 we welcomed a new girl to our kennels. This is Haiziedayz Narah. We cannot thank her Breeder/Co-Owner Katrina Hiller of Haiziedayz Kennels for the opportunity to own and show this beautiful girl.

We breed for temperment, type and soundness.
We pride ourselves on the temperment of our dogs who are friendly, loyal, loving and outgoing.

Full German bloodlines, richly coloured, strong and healthy babies. Both parents have excellent temperament. Our babies are raised indoors for the first few weeks, then outdoors exposing them to everyday situations, producing puppies with sound temperament for kids and family.
Both parents have good hips and elbow scores having their ‘A’ and ‘Z’ stamps.

We expect these exciting puppies to have outstanding temperament and lovely strength and glamour.

Sheprose kennels puppies are here from the lovely new import Rasti , I currently have a lovely young male from this sire who was second in the national .

Mum won her first 19 shows straight and was 9th on the pegs at 2022 national when her mum Champion Kyoara Holly won the silver medal .

Ch. TCh. Jayshell Touchee (AI) CCD. RN. TDX. TSD. ET has been mated to Bronboreo Short Macchiatio AZ.
Both Sire and Dam are Breed Surveyed and have excellent Specialty Show records.
Sire was second Intermediate Dog at 2024 National. Dam has a long and successful show career with her highest achievement being Vice Seigeren in 2022. Son from Dam's last litter won the Puppy Dog Class at the 2024 National.
We are excited to see what this litter will produce both in the show ring, tracking, nosework, track and search, obedience, Rally and as assistance or therapy dogs.
