I have been involved with Scottish Deerhounds since March 2010
I got my first Deerhound Ember from Bhealaich Kennels. She is Ch Bhealaich Prettyprecosus. I cannot thank Glenda and Chris enough for my beautiful girl who in July 2014 had her first litter.
From this we kept Mirrahcle ~Aust Ch, Neut Ch Luvadeer A Beautiful Mirrahcle~
Mirrahcle became a neuter in 2020 and titled easily in 8 months after a lengthy lockdown. We are so proud of this girl. In 2022 Mirrahcle was Top Neuter Hound for Victoria.

In 2021 we welcomed a new girl to our kennels. This is Haiziedayz Narah. We cannot thank her Breeder/Co-Owner Katrina Hiller of Haiziedayz Kennels for the opportunity to own and show this beautiful girl.

We breed for temperment, type and soundness.
We pride ourselves on the temperment of our dogs who are friendly, loyal, loving and outgoing.

CABERFEI DEERHOUNDS
We have had deerhounds since 1979 and only breed occasionally. We ensure that both sire and dam are suited for each other to ensure the best quality pups.

Over the last 40 or so years, we have only bred 9 litters. It is our belief that only good quality Deerhounds should ever be bred from.

We do not have puppies at present, but may have some in the near future.

We have been members and supporters of the Deerhound Club of Victoria since 1979.

We’re thrilled to announce we have a confirmed litter whelped on the 8th of October. This will be our last litter until at least 2026. At Whimsily, our aims are to breed for health, temperament and to preserve the beautiful English Setter breed. Our dogs are thoroughly health tested, including hip scores, DNA testing and BAER testing. Our puppies are raised with Puppy Culture to help them reach their full potential as balanced, resilient future dogs. They’ve been exposed to baths, blow drying, clippers and regular nail trims to set them up for grooming in the future. Whimsily puppies come home with: - Australian National Kennel Council (ANKC) Pedigree - Microchipped - Wormed - Their first two vaccinations - BAER (hearing) tested - Lifetime support from us! - A puppy pack with food, grooming tools and an information booklet. Puppies come registered with Dogs Victoria on the limited registry, which means they cannot be bred from or shown. Owners are required to sign a contract that any puppy on the limited registry will not be bred from. When show-quality puppies are available, expressions of interest will be taken from genuine show people interested in exhibiting. We have a litter that was born in October from our gorgeous Sarah Jayne (Australian Champion Orwin Sarah Jayne) All our babies are raised in our lounge amongst all the normal household noises and activity. All our dogs are part of our family and are not kept in kennels. All breeding dogs are hip and elbow xrayed, Baer tested (hearing) DNA tested and all breeding dogs are clear of NCL (Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis 8) and rcd4-PRA (late onset) We have 2 female puppies available.
