I have been involved with Dalmatians since 1992. My initial stock was a mixture of South African, UK and American lines. After moving to New Zealand, I imported a bitch from Carol Immelman's well known Dallmalli kennel in South Africa, NZ Ch Dallmalli Don't Mind Me at Charizelle and she has been the new foundation for my line since 2003. I strive to breed Dalmatians with their initial purpose in mind - that of an endurance athlete. Dalmatians should be able to run for long distances at an easy, light and economical pace and should be easily identified by their typically evenly spaced spotting. Even though they were also used as guard dogs for the carriages and have a protective nature, they should have a very friendly and outgoing disposition with people.

Cristabo Dalmatians are a small kennel aiming to produce true Dalmatian type and temperament. Bloodlines used include those from top English, American, Australian, European and NZ kennels.

Our dogs share our home fulfilling their joint role of companion dogs & pets that are also capable of wining in the show ring.

We have exported to Germany, New Caledonia and Canada and added to the NZ gene pool by importing stock from Norway and Australia.

He is registered with Dogs Australia and has been vaccinated, microchipped, BAER tested and Vet checked. He also has had a DNA test and is LUA N/hu. An LUA Dalmatian carries one or two copies of the non-mutated gene, allowing them to metabolise certain proteins (purines) properly, meaning that they are free from the breed's predisposition to form uric stones in their urine.

He has been fed a quality diet, wormed regularly, been well handled and, most importantly, has been raised with love.

He will go to its new home with a blanket, toy, a diet and breed info pack and some sample food.
