VEDAMEA Smooth Collies are professional breeders, established in 1979 and reared on five acres of lush green paddocks at the foot of the Blue Mountains in New South Wales, Australia. Now calling the stunning 7 mile beaches of Lake Cathie on the NSW Mid North Coast out home; our Collies run free with lots of fresh air and sunshine and pristine coastal landscapes to bound around in a happy and well-adjusted lifestyle. A wholesome natural diet produces sound and healthy animals. Our experience and appreciation for the value of a true working dog is linked to our strong rural roots. Although most breeds today are not required to work as such, we believe retaining this working ability is essential to produce Collies suitable as show dogs, for obedience or just simply good companions - healthy in body and spirit.

The Collie has an aesthetic value shared by few other breeds. They are always willing to please with wonderful temperaments and a great desire to be with you. They are wonderful dogs for almost anyone.

Vedamea Collies has a small, responsible breeding program reflecting our commitment to relevant testing. We have imported numerous quality Collies over the years to infuse into our breeding program, ensuring not only improvement of breed type, but also the introduction of new bloodlines ensures continued good health to our lovely breed.

We are pleased to announce the arrival our T&T litter - 6 beautiful sable babies born on 10 August 2024. 2 girls and 4 boys. Mum - Tashi did an amazing job!! Both Mum and Dad have amazing temperaments and are beautiful, sweet loving little dogs. Our puppies are raised in our home.

We have 1 very sweet little man available (show potential). The little boy is Mr Personality and is such an outgoing, loving little man. He is just an absolute little sweetheart. We had all intentions of running this little man on in the show ring however due to significant health issues we have had to reconsider.

Being that he is now 12 weeks old he has had both his 1st and 2nd vaccinations along with being microchipped, wormed, vaccinated, health checked and registered on Limited registration with Dogs NSW.

I have been showing & breeding for over 40 years mainly with our English Springer Spaniels and most recently with Tibetan Spaniels. Tashi and Tonto have both had some lovely class in group wins and have quality bloodlines including UK lines.
