A small, home-based kennel aiming to breed sound, happy smooth collies with a love of life and correct conformation, though rough collies are also expected from time to time They are also bred with other dog sports in mind, for example herding and obedience, although the smooth collie is suitable also for tracking and agility or just enjoyed as an adorable family companion. We have been involved with the breed since 2008 beginning with the smooth collie Ch. Jencol Swing Ona Star PT “Nessa”. This young lady has been a great introduction to the breed and we now have her in our hearts and haven’t looked back! We had our first litter of Border terriers, our first breed, in January of 2010, and Nessa was a fantastic nanny to them and still mothers “Casey” the pup we kept! Our first litter of collies was born in February 2012 and we have now a very lovable boy in the mix. At Coltie we are a small kennel that breeds for quality not quantity. Our pups are all lovingly born & raised in the home. Occasionally available to selected homes.

Predominantly a Collie (Smooth) breeder, at times a Collie (Rough) will be available resulting from litters, where the parents are Rough Coat factored genetically.

Derloch Collies has been breeding Collie Roughs for over 40 years. Our Collies are based on English lines and include Sandiacre, Brilyn, Ladnar and years of our own breeding. We are located at Montrose VIC. Derloch Collies along with Ollerom Collies welcomes our first import from the UK, Ladnar Specail Bond Imp UK. Chico Qualifyed for Crufts 2007 as well as 2008 were he placed 2nd.

Ch Corjalin Blinded By Th Light (Imp USA)"Griffey" was bred to Aust. Ch. Robgai Sierra Sunrise "Ruby". Griffey is from legendary collie lines and boast to being from the great Am. Ch. Gambits Hurricane Brew'n who is the son of Ch. Gambits Freeze Frame. Ruby also has some impressive lines being the grand daughter of Am Ch Twin Acres Dark and Dashing and the great grand daughter of Am Ch. Clarion Too Much Heaven.

November update I have a beautiful tri collie male pup waiting for his forever home. Hamish would most likely be good at dog sports like agility and fly ball. He is a delighlful pup. Nanuq collies were born on the 21st july, 2024. The parents have had full genetic profiles completed and therefore these puppies will be clear of CEA., DM, There pedigree are from USA and Australian lines. Hamish lives with his parents and aunts and uncles in a loving home environment.He loves attention, playing with children who visit and letting me know when visitors arrive. Hamish loves being with children Hamish is micro chipped and has had health and eye checks. He has received his first and second vaccination and is about to receive his third. They already had eye health screening with eye specialist at 6 wks, DNA testing (awaiting results), vaccinations, microchipping and health checks. Blue merles are a true bless, they are raised in our house in the city along with pup mom Sofi (sable merle), dad Simba (tri), and great uncle Sam (10yo). They get a lot of cuddles everyday so they will be used to being touched and handled. Early training has already started. We do absolutely our best to nurture them. Sandicourt Collies have been exhibiting and breeding collies since 1979. We breed to the Breed Standard and our dogs have got amazing temperaments ideal for any family. We have been fortunate to have available to selected homes, 1 sable girl and 2 sable boys. Gidget is a multi group awarded girl who has excelled in the show ring. Both parents are by imported lines. Both Parents have had full breed DNA profiles, and both have been hip scored with excellent results. These results are available to the new purchaser. Sandicourt have bred many Champions over the years and have also had successful dogs in Obedience, different Dog Sports, and service dogs. I have a nearly 4 month old tri coloured male collie who needs a forever home. He has started lead training and comes when called by his name. Hamish is quick to learn and always trying to please. He is wonderful with children and has no fear of older dogs. He is registered with Dogs Queensland and due for his third vaccination next Monday 18th November.
