With the great success we have had with our Keeshonden, Kahnhond has branched into a second breed with dogs from one of the most respected Collie Rough breeders in the country. With success at the EKKA (Qld Royal Show), the Melbourne Royal Show, the 2017 Collie National Show (Qld), and specialty shows, the quality of our Collies can not be disputed.

A small, home-based kennel aiming to breed sound, happy smooth collies with a love of life and correct conformation, though rough collies are also expected from time to time They are also bred with other dog sports in mind, for example herding and obedience, although the smooth collie is suitable also for tracking and agility or just enjoyed as an adorable family companion.
We have been involved with the breed since 2008 beginning with the smooth collie Ch. Jencol Swing Ona Star PT “Nessa”. This young lady has been a great introduction to the breed and we now have her in our hearts and haven’t looked back!
We had our first litter of Border terriers, our first breed, in January of 2010, and Nessa was a fantastic nanny to them and still mothers “Casey” the pup we kept!
Our first litter of collies was born in February 2012 and we have now a very lovable boy in the mix. "Ryder" or Wiru Let It Ride is an enthusiatic part of family, eager to make his entry into the world of showing.

We have two Rough Collie Puppies (purebred) who will be ready to go to their new homes (one sable and white and one tricolor)
These pups were born and raised in the family home with children, have been wormed at fortnightly intervals, are well socialized with both people and other dogs. They have excellent temperaments and are suitable for small children.
They are health checked, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and their eyes have been checked by a vet ophthalmologist.
They are suitable for dog sports, obedience, family pet or companion dog.
The puppy comes with breeder support, an information booklet plus a puppy pack.
