RIVERSPRIDE is a small kennel having litters once a year. Having cocker spaniels since 1998. Our dream of breeding these special dogs came true when Maria retired and could give her dogs and puppies her full attention. With up-to-date information, as well as the help of a seasoned breeder, Maria has put together a program of enrichment and mental stimulation, that with the best nutrition available will give these puppies the best start possible.

We can not keep all the dogs we breed, some are available for pet homes, from time to time we have older dogs that don't like the show scene or have finished their show career looking for the good life on someone's bed.

We have available some beautiful cheeky pups ready to go late July.

All puppies come vet checked, with limited registration papers, microchipped, vaccinated wormed, flea treated and with extensive paperwork with tips and information to help settle your pup in their new home as easily as possible.

Canicula are seeking expressions of interest for their upcoming litter of pure working line Cocker spaniels (Due in June).

From fully imported bloodlines they have been bred for their natural working ability and performance in the field. These dogs will excel in traditional gundog Field and Retrieving disciplines, as well as non-traditional dog sports like Agility.

Their high drive together with an easy, willing dependable disposition makes them a perfect choice for Service Personnel, Government Agencies, or Professionals working in the scent detection field.

They will also do well in an active pet home (our own dogs live in the house and are first and foremost family pets). A lot of the same qualities like sound stable temperament, and trainability that we revere in our working dogs are equally as important in pets.

Mum is a UK import (by the 2016 UK National Champion) and an extremely stylish little dog that was very easy to train. She has won Field Trials in both ANKC and WGAA competition. She is a very easy dog to have around the house and has that all important "off switch".

Dad has a really easy-go-lucky nature and gets on with everyone and everything. He approaches everything he does with 110% enthusiasm and is actively competing in Retrieving and Agility trials.

Both parents have been fully health tested, including radiographic hip and elbow screening and DNA tested for all relevant conditions. Our puppies are raised and fully socialised in a family environment.
