Staplechi have been showing & breeding Chihuahuas since 1978 and have bred many Champions and Grand Champions. We breed for type & soundness (not breeding with suspect patella) for the show ring & specialise in good temperaments, making our Chihuahuas excellent show dogs and the perfect family companion.
Occasionally breeding for our show team, sometimes puppies are available to the right home. All of our dogs are veterinary checked for heath prior to breeding and retirement and we educate all pet owners regarding care and well-being of our darlings moving into new homes.

We started showing and breeding Chihuahua's in 1982. We are breeders of long and smooth coated Chihuahuas in Adelaide, South Australia. Our aim from the start has been and still is to breed soundness and good temperaments into our dogs. We are not an overly large Kennel and breed for Quality not Quantity. We breed mainly for the Show ring but do have puppies for sale sometimes as pets. Enquiries are most welcome.

Here at Kuchukopek we breed for the Show Ring only.
We strive to improve the Breed, occasionally we have Puppies that are not suitable for Showing.
Our dogs go to their new homes from 3 months onward after we have decided which are suitable for Showing. The puppies that do not make the grade and sometimes older dogs are sold as Pets.

Our Kennel Prefix means a lot to us and we value our honesty and integrity.
We do not like to sell Puppies at 8 weeks as we cannot guarantee what they will turn out like in regard to type, temperament and size for the Show ring, and as pets if someone is looking for a "Specific" looking Chihuahua. Chihuahuas are known to go through many changes while growing. What might be a beautiful baby could change while growing, and vice versa.

He has been raised with other older Chis and still lives indoors with us.
Will come Vaccinated, Microchipped and Wormed, and healthy.
