I have been involved with Scottish Deerhounds since March 2010 I got my first Deerhound Ember from Bhealaich Kennels. She is Ch Bhealaich Prettyprecosus. I cannot thank Glenda and Chris enough for my beautiful girl who in July 2014 had her first litter. From this we kept Mirrahcle ~Aust Ch, Neut Ch Luvadeer A Beautiful Mirrahcle~ Mirrahcle became a neuter in 2020 and titled easily in 8 months after a lengthy lockdown. We are so proud of this girl. In 2022 Mirrahcle was Top Neuter Hound for Victoria. In 2021 we welcomed a new girl to our kennels. This is Haiziedayz Narah. We cannot thank her Breeder/Co-Owner Katrina Hiller of Haiziedayz Kennels for the opportunity to own and show this beautiful girl. We breed for temperment, type and soundness. We pride ourselves on the temperment of our dogs who are friendly, loyal, loving and outgoing. *NO LITTERS PLANNED

Lochbrowan Scottish Deerhound Kennels are located outside Taupo, NZ. Our aim is to breed deerhounds for three main points 1) to be good companions 2) to be excellent specimens of the breed with great conformation and true movement; and 3) to be capable of undertaking their original work. We are proud to offer some of the best bloodlines found in the world, and our dogs are making their mark in the show ring and in the field. CABERFEI DEERHOUNDS We have had deerhounds since 1979 and only breed occasionally. We ensure that both sire and dam are suited for each other to ensure the best quality pups. Over the last 40 or so years, we have only bred 9 litters. It is our belief that only good quality Deerhounds should ever be bred from. We are pleased to announce two new gorgeous litter of puppies. Our beautiful grey merle 'Shiloh' has a litter of eight puppies and our wonderful black & white girl 'Piper' also has a litter of eight puppies. Both litters were born on 12th September 2024. Parent dogs have gentle loving temperaments and have been DNA tested and cleared for CL, TNS & CAE and other relevant diseases. All puppies have been microchipped & regularly wormed and have been vaccinated & Vet checked at six weeks old. Puppies have been socialising well and are suitable as family pets. The puppies will be registered with Dogs Australia on limited pedigree register. Puppies will come with a free 6 week pet insurance & puppy pack. Our puppies are $3500 pedigree registered with papers on the limited register. They will come with a huge puppy pack valued at over $400. They will be vaccinated microchipped, wormed and health checked. Their parents are dna tested and clear. So they won’t be affected by any of the hereditary diseases. Our dogs are raised on 36 acres as part of the family. We have insulted night kennels for their safety in the evenings and during the day they live on the acres and with us. So have free access to enjoy life all day. We will lock them away on some days for a couple hours for their safety if we know we are having a busy day with visitors or parties and if they’re in heat. A couple of the dogs will stay inside at night but as a pack of 9 dogs it’s just too many for all of them to stay inside and have access to outside in the evenings. Our puppies are raised inside our home from birth to around 3 weeks old and then moved to our under cover verandah and large insulted whelping kennels. Once they’re 4-5 weeks of age during the nice weather days they’ll be set up in the grass playpen and back in the large kennels at night. 5-6 weeks we start taking them for small drives in the car and get them used to noises and movement. 6-7 weeks we will do a bigger play day/ open day with them. And 7-8 weeks we start more one on one crate training them for 10-20 mins at a night and we also try to more intensive toilet training with them. We have large folder with all information.
