Skyhuntr Brittany’s is small scale kennel who focuses on breeding quality not quantity.

Our love of Brittany’s began when we first became involved in the breed in 2008, when Artie joined our family. From there we were hooked on the breed.

In 2014 we added Astro to our pack. Titled at 14 months and in training to be gundog while showing we were hunting and showing on the same weekends.

In 2017, Skye was added to the pack. Skye titled by 9 months old before moving onto obedience, agility and field work

2022 Eden joined the pack. Eden is a daughter to Astro and Skye’s second litter. While young we have been showing and training to be a gundog.

We have 10+ years of obedience instructors with our local dog club.)

10+ years in field work training and working into tracking and scent work.

We believe that Brittany’s should be utilised in a role (obedience, agility, retrieving or fieldwork etc) as they love working for their owners and have a brilliant mind for learning but equally we believe that they should be right at home on the couch watching tv at the end of the day.

We are a small family kennel (American lines) based in country Nth East Vic.
We have owned and loved Brittanys since 2016- our first being our beautiful boy ‘Jimmy’- Aust Ch Tobenlee U Take My Breath Away CCD RN ET- who came from renown Vic kennel ‘Tobenlee’- teaching us everything Brittany and we are forever grateful for the guidance.
In 2019 along came our next Brittany, our beautiful girl ‘Josie’ - Aust Ch Kirinbell Style n Grace ET - from esteemed Sydney kennel ‘Kirinbell’- who has also been a wealth of knowledge and much appreciated support.
We enjoy our Brittanys being very much part of our family including cat- Mia, sharing our home and our daily lives.
They enjoy daily walks, drives, - basically anywhere we go they happily come too.
On weekends they enjoy dog school and the occasional outings to show, obedience, rally and endurance competition.
Being an energetic breed- they are in dog heaven having a run in nearby paddocks flushing out Quail, or running along the shores of nearby Lake Eildon. But just as content to spend a lazy afternoon snoozing on the couch under the air conditioner, or heater- or having quiet snuggles on the bed.
Our dogs are hip/elbow x-rayed, also heart and eye certified clear.
Being only small - we only breed occasionally, but enquiries are most welcome, either for general Brittany information or for future puppies.

Exciting times here at Kenishka!

A week ago we were happy to welcome a very special litter of three girls and five boys!

COI at 4 generations 7.13 very low. Pedigrees in the pics.

As some of you know , my house is on the market and it�s not a suitable time for me to have a litter of puppies at home.

So Elise Hinde, Willows owner and breeder is raising this litter for me. The best thing is that she doesn�t live too far from me so there will be plenty of visits!
The puppies will of course be raised using PuppyCulture ethos like their mother, grandmother and father.

I will be almost certainty keeping a girl puppy for myself but there are a couple of puppies as yet unspoken for.

Willow "Mum" has had a safe arrival of her first litter of Hungarian Vizsla puppies Archie "dad" this is his second litter. Pups are dark in colour of Russet Gold. Mum Willow and puppies are doing great and all gaining weight, Im very happy for a first time litter. Pups born 10 November 2024 . They can only leave home once 8 weeks old, with Vet check, first vaccination C3, microchips.
