ALCANCE is a Spanish word, meaning "To Reach, To Stretch, To Overcome". It signifies our breeding ethos and determination. It's also a good description of the boxer itself! Alcance Boxers is small, robust & caring breeder based in the northern suburbs of Melbourne, Australia. We actively show our dogs and occasionally will have puppies available for sale to absolute Boxer-loving people. Our goal is to produce quality boxers, stand behind them and support our "Alcance Alumni". Jill has a 4 yr Bachelor Of Science degree in Animal Science; she is excited to apply her knowledge in the creation of healthy dogs; Frank has a keen interest in training & socialising our dogs. Emilia has a degree in Psychology and is our expert handler, Emilia is also Delta Therapy Dog accredited and enjoys putting our boxers to work benefiting those in hospice or hospital. Zac has now become a commissioned officer in the RAN, but will always be an integral member of our pack! Our resident boxers are health & genetic tested for common health issues found in the breed. We only breed our girls with dogs that achieve a rating of 0 for Aortic Stenosis. Whether you are looking for a puppy or a mature aged boxer, we will always assist you as best we can.
