Dogs NSW Member 2100088184 Freckled Park Border Collies is a dedicated Australian National Kennel Council registered breeder who aims to breed sound puppies with excellent temperaments suitable for many disciplines including show, agility and most importantly family companions. Our dogs are raised in a loving home environment with our children and farm animals on our 90 acre property at Killabakh located on the Mid North Coast of NSW. Parents are DNA tested as well as hip and elbow scored before breeding to ensure we are only breeding sound, genetically healthy dogs. Cedarpark is a small kennel situated in the beautiful central west, 3 hours from Sydney, 2 hours from Canberra. Our puppies are $3500 pedigree registered with papers on the limited register. They will come with a huge puppy pack valued at over $400. They will be vaccinated microchipped, wormed and health checked. Their parents are dna tested and clear. So they won’t be affected by any of the hereditary diseases. Our dogs are raised on 36 acres as part of the family. We have insulted night kennels for their safety in the evenings and during the day they live on the acres and with us. So have free access to enjoy life all day. We will lock them away on some days for a couple hours for their safety if we know we are having a busy day with visitors or parties and if they’re in heat. A couple of the dogs will stay inside at night but as a pack of 9 dogs it’s just too many for all of them to stay inside and have access to outside in the evenings. Our puppies are raised inside our home from birth to around 3 weeks old and then moved to our under cover verandah and large insulted whelping kennels. Once they’re 4-5 weeks of age during the nice weather days they’ll be set up in the grass playpen and back in the large kennels at night. 5-6 weeks we start taking them for small drives in the car and get them used to noises and movement. 6-7 weeks we will do a bigger play day/ open day with them. And 7-8 weeks we start more one on one crate training them for 10-20 mins at a night and we also try to more intensive toilet training with them. We have large folder with all information.

These pups are chunky @ 2 weeks now, they will be mid sized yet quite thick borders.. Henry has a glorious coat so pups will have lovely mid to long length hair. Both parents are a pleasure, easy going social dogs.. and we expect this to reflect onto their offspring The development of our pups is very important to us. Our pups are raised in our home, with lots of interaction with our family. We introduce our babies to different stimulation as they develop to ensure they transition from each stage goes smoothly in this short 8 weeks of intense growth period. We also monitor the pups weight and meal intake daily to ensure the pups are getting the best of everything. Vegas favourite activity is napping, she not only has an off switch but when nothing interesting is happenning she might as well be unplugged. She can be convinced that she's a border collie with food and play but otherwise I'd say she tends towards being a bit of a couch spud. Vega will do anything for food, she acts like she's never been fed and this makes her a candidate for weight gain so you will need to be someone who is willing to say no to puppy dog eyes. Vega was not raised by us but she has lived with us for the last 2 years and has been nothing but a pleasure to have. Vega is crate trained, toilet trained, leash trained, knows basic obedience, is comfortable with grooming and will happily accompany you to cafes, on walks, to the beach, camping, basically she fits in wherever you ask her to. She will be desexed prior to leaving us. Vega has been fully DNA tested, and has had her joints xrayed to confirm she does not have dysplasia. If you believe you could offer this gorgeous girl her perfect retirement home, please don't hesitate to reach out. I have a lovely male looking for his forever home. He is a sweet boy, has been back for rehab for a couple of months now. He would suit a one person home where he doesn't need to be worried about being hurt and can trust his human. Gets on great with all other dogs of all sizes. He is desexed, and free to a perfect family. Crate trained and knows many tricks. Also We also have a 7 yr old female. Crate trained, house trained, has manners, good on lead looking for a perfect family. Would suit a family in suburbia, whom want a lounge lizard. She really does prefer to just chill.
