We have been active in show dogs for 40 plus years, acquiring our first Border Collie in 1974 from Crestvale Kennels in Victoria and our second from Tullaview Kennels in 1977. This was our foundation bitch, Ch. Tullaview Temptress, who was not only an outstanding breed representative in her own right in the showring and set big milestones along the way, but also paved the incredible road to where we are today in our breeding plans. All our breeding stock are hip/elbow scored & DNA tested for CL,CEA and TNS. CountrySol Border Collies is a small farm based kennel on the Eyre Peninsula of South Australia. Temperament & Health are very important to us and our puppies are raised in a loving environment with small children and lots of animals. We are excited to announce that we welcomed our newest additions on the 21st Nov and are pleased to say all are doing well! This is the first (long awaited) litter for both mum and dad who are both gentle, social, and loving family dogs. We expect the same in these babies. All puppies are black & white, and are being raised in my home with plenty of involvement in family life, and will be fed on a premium diet of Royal Canin and a variety fresh food. Vegas favourite activity is napping, she not only has an off switch but when nothing interesting is happenning she might as well be unplugged. She can be convinced that she's a border collie with food and play but otherwise I'd say she tends towards being a bit of a couch spud. Vega will do anything for food, she acts like she's never been fed and this makes her a candidate for weight gain so you will need to be someone who is willing to say no to puppy dog eyes. Vega was not raised by us but she has lived with us for the last 2 years and has been nothing but a pleasure to have. Vega is crate trained, toilet trained, leash trained, knows basic obedience, is comfortable with grooming and will happily accompany you to cafes, on walks, to the beach, camping, basically she fits in wherever you ask her to. She will be desexed prior to leaving us. Vega has been fully DNA tested, and has had her joints xrayed to confirm she does not have dysplasia. I have a lovely male looking for his forever home. He is a sweet boy, has been back for rehab for a couple of months now. He would suit a one person home where he doesn't need to be worried about being hurt and can trust his human. Gets on great with all other dogs of all sizes. He is desexed, and free to a perfect family. Crate trained and knows many tricks. Also We also have a 7 yr old female.
