Sammie is a very sweet, petite and pretty girl with a classic border collie look. She loves cuddles yet she is keen to work and performs very well in a show ring and obedience. She is DNA tested and cleared of hereditary disease. Sired by Sasha, our handsome boy. He is very calm and loving, he adores his people and tries to please everyone. Sasha comes from exceptional show lines and is DNA cleared from any hereditary disease. Our dogs and puppies are raised in the farm environment with exposure to chickens, cows, kids, and everything else that comes with farm living so they are well socialised with other animals. Proud breeders of Conformation and Performance titled Border Collies, Tracie has also campaigned many other breeds successfully over the past 42 years. She is an ANKC (Dogs Australia) licenced judge for the Working, Gundog & Non Sporting Groups, a Junior Handler judge and Convenor of the DOGS NSW Junior Handler Working Party. She is currently a Trainee judge for the Toy Group. Bobanette was the long established kennel of Claude & Robyn McManus, with Peter joining the partnership in 1979. Bobanette was the home of Aust Ch Gotrah Charger & Aust Ch Firelynx Navajho Storm (J04) (imp UK), and they bred many Conformation and Performance titled Border Collies under this prefix. Unfortunately this prefix is no longer in use following the sad passing of Robyn McManus in 2016. Our daughter Kathleen has been involved with exhibiting and Junior Handlers from an early age, handling Border Collies and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. We only have a small number of dogs at home at any time and do not breed very often. Our dogs enjoy their lives with us both as competitive show dogs and our treasured family companions. We are a small kennel based in Sydney, NSW. All breeding stock are hip / elbow scored, eye & DNA tested. Aiming to produce quality puppies with exceptional temperaments. Our puppies are $3500 pedigree registered with papers on the limited register. They will come with a huge puppy pack valued at over $400. They will be vaccinated microchipped, wormed and health checked. Their parents are dna tested and clear. So they won’t be affected by any of the hereditary diseases. Our dogs are raised on 36 acres as part of the family. We have insulted night kennels for their safety in the evenings and during the day they live on the acres and with us. So have free access to enjoy life all day. We will lock them away on some days for a couple hours for their safety if we know we are having a busy day with visitors or parties and if they’re in heat. A couple of the dogs will stay inside at night but as a pack of 9 dogs it’s just too many for all of them to stay inside and have access to outside in the evenings. Our puppies are raised inside our home from birth to around 3 weeks old and then moved to our under cover verandah and large insulted whelping kennels. Once they’re 4-5 weeks of age during the nice weather days they’ll be set up in the grass playpen and back in the large kennels at night. 5-6 weeks we start taking them for small drives in the car and get them used to noises and movement. 6-7 weeks we will do a bigger play day/ open day with them. And 7-8 weeks we start more one on one crate training them for 10-20 mins at a night and we also try to more intensive toilet training with them. We have large folder with all information.

TWO PUPPIES AVAILABLE We have TWO puppies looking for their new families towards the end of December 2024. The male puppies are traditional black and white colouring and were born on the 29th of September 2024. They are very similar in personality, both being very confident and affectionate, they genuinely just love to be with you. We have two young children ourselves, whom the puppies have had lots of exposure to from birth and again they dote over the children. The puppies are toilet trained, with basic training started (sit, drop, recall, walking on a lead), crate training has been introduced as well as early exposure to travelling in vehicles, street walks and general socialisation which is important in these early months. Fly and Mack are the parents of this litter of five, who both are lovely natured dogs. We have health tested both parents carrying out DNA profiles and Hip and Elbow scoring to ensure our puppies cannot develop the diseases available to be screened. We appreciate that this time of year is particularly busy, we would be happy to organise holding puppies for a period or organising transport if required. Vegas favourite activity is napping, she not only has an off switch but when nothing interesting is happenning she might as well be unplugged. She can be convinced that she's a border collie with food and play but otherwise I'd say she tends towards being a bit of a couch spud. Vega will do anything for food, she acts like she's never been fed and this makes her a candidate for weight gain so you will need to be someone who is willing to say no to puppy dog eyes. Vega was not raised by us but she has lived with us for the last 2 years and has been nothing but a pleasure to have. Vega is crate trained, toilet trained, leash trained, knows basic obedience, is comfortable with grooming and will happily accompany you to cafes, on walks, to the beach, camping, basically she fits in wherever you ask her to. She will be desexed prior to leaving us. Vega has been fully DNA tested, and has had her joints xrayed to confirm she does not have dysplasia.
